Rodeway Inn

First review cause I never felt it necessary. Don’t expect anything above a bed and a roof. When I asked for an extra pillow I was told «nope, no extras». I again asked if my wife and I could have one more please, cause we were only given one each (cheapest used pillows). I had to ask another time if the manager could go to an empty room and borrow two for us, he returned and said «nope only one». I then asked if I could have an extra blanket cause the light fleece blanket (no comforter) wasn’t enough (it’s January) I was told «nope no extras» by the manager. When I asked please, he responded «night». Went down for so called continental breakfast to find stale muffins, warm oj, warm milk, and warm waffle batter sitting on a counter for me to make. Nothing on ice … Health Code .what? Stay away unless all you need is a roof and a belly ache!

I wish I could give this crap hole a –5 stars
Here I sit waiting for the police to come. This crap hole kicked me out of my room while I was tending to my grandma cause their employees screwed up and they are not willing to admit the mistake. Their employee checked me in early and didn’t tell me their time started 3pm not 3 am. When I called prior to my flight to ask this their employee I was arriving at 3am would this be a problem? He said it wouldn’t be a problem. Now they took it upon themselves moved my things out of the room, rented it out and here I sit waiting to see what happens. They screwed up my paperwork states 6 – 8 the put me in at 5 – 7 not my problem your problem. They will not say they made a mistake and it’s not their problem. They won’t give me another room at my discount price I originally got my reservations for now I have to pay regular price. Your employee made a mistake so do what is right correct it and save face but noo, so I’m pushing it to the limit and your getting every bad review all actions I cat legally peruse. Plus I’m missing my hair jell and a sub plug. You don’t have the right to just move and or touch my stuff you should of just charged me do another room and be done with it. Not put me on the street. That was you last mistake.

first off. the girl working reception was awesome after that it all went down hill. Exercise room? huh? what exercise room. big sign Out of order. Continental breakfast? huh? really… muffins. that’s It? yea… that is it.
we had a fire while I was here and we had to evacuate for the afternoon. the owner showed up and yelled at the employees. a complete jerk. are they going to comp us for standing in the rain… I doubt it.
not a good place to stay.,
I will never spend one more cent here.

Well, at least it’s clean…
After entering the inn, my friend and were greeted by a nice gentleman behind the counter who scanned my drivers license. He does this so if we do something unsavory, like trash the room, he can add my photo to the shit-​list prominently displayed in the lobby.
The elevator would put most freshman college dorms to shame with it’s slow-​moving creaking struggle up a floor and multiple layers of graffiti-​covered paint. Nostalgic to say the least.
Entering the room, we have a collective sense of relief at the fact that it does not smell, and is very clean and tidy. With the expectation of the used bath towel shoved between my mattress and the wall…
This hotel features luxurious like a lamp (shade not included) and a complementary bottle of sample size shampoo to wash your hands with. Enjoy a can of Southwest Airlines water (1 $ from the vending machine) as you are soothed by the sound of a highway running outside your window. Pop an Advil PM (also available in the vending machine), stuff your ears with tissue and tuck in.
For 73 $ you too can experience what it’s like to live next to an overpass and be greeted in the morning by a guy giving you the stink eye as you attempt to check out. My suggestion; bring some earplugs or go elsewhere, it’s clean but not worth the price.

Not a 5 star hotel but all great amenities. Hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator in the room! Comfortable bed and great pillows! Despite being right next to the highway it was very quiet. Building was old but clean. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Good deal for the $$.
