Tim’s Auto Repair Center

I have been taking my 2004 Buick Rendezvous to Tim for the last 3 years. Tim has always been honest and respectful. He never talks down to me (as a woman, this happens a lot when you take your car into the mechanic’s shop) and he always takes the time to answer my questions and fully explain what is needed or what my options are. I am never pressured to do any service or repair.
Tim and his staff are always friendly and kind and their prices are very reasonable. I have tried other places, and I always come back to Tim’s for any and all repairs and maintenance.

I went to Tim’s shop to fix a particular problem I was having. He told me he fixed the problem and recommended two more repairs that needed to be done to make the car driveable, so I authorized those 3 repairs all together, costing around $ 750. A week later I was having the same problem as before so I took it back to have them look at it. $ 129 later he tells me it’s something different than before, even though it was acting up the exact same way (same symptoms). He then said they weren’t sure what the problem was, ranging anywhere from a $ 400 filter to a $ 6,000 transmission. Since my car was old and had alot of miles, I decided to get a new one. However, Tim refused to give me any sort of refund for my previous repairs. I explained to him the only reason I got the repairs done was because he said he fixed the problem and I was planning on keeping the car. But it turned out he didn’t fix the problem and couldn’t find the exact problem so I was almost forced to get a new car. The fact the he charged me around $ 900 all together and my car still wasn’t working, made me irate and furious. I will never go back to him again or refer him. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I went to Tim’s Auto Repair in Carrollton, Texas and brought my 2005 Nissan Altima to get my oil changed and the Check Engine Light checked.
Not only were they awesome in customer relations, they did a great job in changing oil and telling me what the problem with the Check Engine light. I recommend them highly and hope I know that you will have a GREAT experience with Tim at Tim’s Auto Repair in Carrollton, TX
