They have good coupons for call in pizza orders. The pizza is ok. It is on a cracker thin crust and cut into squares. It needs more flavor or something. The restaurant is small but clean. It is a nice place to sit and eat and enjoy a little tv.

I felt like I was at home in St. Louis eating Imo’s. Imo’s is a St. Louis style pizza known for their thin crust and provel cheese. The cashier told us the owner of Tomato Pie owns some Imo’s in Stl! How awesome is that?! Lol My sis and I dined in and ordered the 14 inch pepperoni, italian sausage and bacon pizza, toasted ravioli, and cheese garlic bread. Everything was cooked in perfection. The staff was really nice and the place was clean. If I’m ever in the area again or feel like making a road trip to the northern Dallas area, I will stop and get another pizza and ravioli.

My goto for pizza, I think its the best in town, Carlos the GM was very kind and gave great service, delivered a perfect pizza to my table. 10 bucks for a large 1 topping pizza all day, and they deliver late too, you cant beat it.

The pizza is probably good but I don’t know for sure because of the overwhelming taste of bad tap water all throughout. I couldn’t pinpoint if it was coming from the dough, the cheese, or the mushrooms but it made the pizza inedible. Maybe if my mushroom AND beef pizza had arrived WITH the beef I ordered the bad water taste would have been dilluted by beefy goodness. I’ll never know. Oh… And I used grubhub to place this order, bad idea… Pizza took forever and the delivery guy couldn’t even be accountable for the order being wrong. Bad Friday night.

Lets start off that being from St Louis im a big fan of thin crust provel pizza. This is the closest thing your going to find in the DFW metroplex. The owner is from St Louis he knows his pizza, he told me he also owns several IMOS there also. The toasted Ravioli were from the Hill and awesome. The difference was the cheese not quite the stick to the roof of your mouth as the real Provel cheese but its still pretty awesome!

I figured that I would give this place a try since they are in my area but I was not too impressed. The salad and sides were good, but the pizza was subpar to put it mildly. Considering the place is called tomato pie I would have hoped for a better pizza. Pizza 2 star, everything else, including delivery time 4, overall 3.

2 hours is an unacceptable amount of time for pizza delivery. Having given up on waiting, I received a call from a polite gentleman who was looking for my apartment. I can only imagine that he’d been the only delivery driver and my $ 27.00 order was his last drop off at 3:30AM. Missing– the $ 5.00 gallon of lemonade. The driver apologized and gave me a large slice of carrot cake as an attempt to make up for the loss.

This place does an amazing job of capturing what makes IMO’s pizza from St. Louis so great. If you are a transplant from St. Louis, or went to college there and are interested in finding your St. Louis style pizza fix, this is your place! From the pizza crust, to the toppings, to the cheese, to the house salad dressing and provel cheese on the salad, to the toasted ravioli and dipping sauce it is a perfect St. Louis-like experience!

Terrible. Really disgusting. Ordered the chicken Parmesan. Tasted dry and very bland. After I ate I went to bed, woke up around 2am and threw it all up! Seriously, skip this place and try Campisis if you want some Italian food

I’ve been receiving coupons on my door for awhile now, but hadn’t ever tried them. My husband said, «not for delivery» in case they sucked and we were stuck at home with bad food. LOL Popped in a few nights ago and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly folks and the prices are good. Chicken carbonara for me and baked meatballs for the hubs. Both get a thumbs up. The alfredo sauce isn’t thin or gritty, and the chicken portion was generous; the tomato sauce wasn’t watery or too sweet and the meatballs were tender. Fried ravioli was pretty good, too! We will be back!

Pizza is disgusting. I ordered here once because they dropped off a menu at my door. I got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza a dessert and a drink. The pizza was dry, thin and tasted stale. The ingredients had a metal like taste. I called and let them know about the situation and they offered me 10% off my next order Just refrain from going here!

I am kind of fed up with this pizza place to be honest. We have purchased from there twice thinking it would be better the second time but of course it was even worse. Overall I will say the pizza is decent, it is not greasy like every other delivery pizza, which is what I’ve been looking for but its not worth the unusually long wait time. The first time we ordered they said it would take 45 minutes, it took a little longer than that and the pizza was cold. It tasted as if it has been sitting out for 20 minutes or longer. We decided to give them a second chance and our experience the last time was terrible. It was about 8:30 at night and we has notified them of our previous experience with receiving cold pizza and the lady on the phone didn’t really seem to care. After more than an hour had passed I finally decided to call and see if they were even bringing the pizza still. The man on the phone said the driver had just left and it will probably be around 15 – 20 minutes(we only live 5 – 10 minutes away but whatever. After another 45 minutes passed I finally received a call from the driver saying he is lost… I provided instructions and then let him know we have been waiting for almost 2 hours and I asked if the pizza was cold and if so then just forget it, but he assured me the pizza was still warm. Finally about 10 minutes later he knocked on our door he apologized for the wait and said if the pizza is cold to just put it in the over. It was about 11pm by the time they brought the pizza. 1. ITSHOULDNEVERTAKE2HOURSTODELIVER A PIZZA2. I just paid almost 25 bucks for this crap I should not have to «reheat» the pizza. If I wanted to heat up my own pizza I would have just gone to the store and bought a frozen one. It would have taken far less time and probably tasted better too. This problem can be fixed by training your employees to move faster, and teaching them to have customer service. A real business with good customer service would be extremely apologetic and even hand out coupons or something to ensure that their customers will come back, but I guess the owners don’t care about staying in business. I don’t want handouts I don’t care about free drinks or anything like that I just want these people to care that they are causing their customers trouble by pretty much ripping them off with EXTREMELY delayed COLD pizza, and that is guaranteed every time to receive cold pizza. If the managers were involved these issues would not continue to occur especially when the problems have been vocalized 3 – 5 times.

I will never ever spend a dime at Tomato Pie for as long as I live and breathe. I hope the owners of this establishment reads this. It was my very first time ordering here. I came home from work after a twelve hour shift and all I wanted was some pizza. I decided to give this place a try. Spent over $ 15. I’m patient as I’m not unfamiliar with ordering online whether it be clothes or food. The estimated wait time is 55 – 65 mins. Fine, that is estimated of course it can be delivered before. Even so, I waited an hour and 30 mins. I’ve never waited that long for delivery in my entire life. Why does it take an hour and 30 mins to deliver food that is literally six minutes way. I live 6 – 7 mins away from Tomato Pie. Isn’t that ridiculous? Even if they were busy is there only one delivery person? I ordered at 8:32 keeping in mind they close at 10:30. And the kicker is when the delivery man finally got to my door he was unapologetic. All he had to do was say sorry even if he wanted to act I would have accepted the pizza. Nope. I told him he can back in his car I don’t want it any more. He said alright with such nonchalant he didn’t care. With that attitude I’m glad he had to waste his gas money. I think this mediocrity of service was due to the fact I didn’t mention I was giving him a tip through my grubhub order. So I guess that’s why my order could wait. How does he know I wouldn’t give him a tip? I would have if I got my pizza in a reasonable time frame. Anyway the next time you order be sure not to mention you aren’t giving a tip lets see how long it takes for your order to come to you.

Ordered delivery. Thin crust but not crispy, soft. Not very impressed with pizza. Salad is greens mix that’s pretty much inedible, don’t recommend the chicken wings either. Ranch was great though.

I feel conflicted writing this review. When I think of a 2, I’m thinking of something solidly mediocre, instead of something with quality so all-over-the-place as what we had last night. So I think I’ll start with the good. That would be the customer service. The guy at the front was very friendly and polite, and I wanna give him top marks for that. The waffle fries I ordered were good, sprinkled with some sort of seasoned salt that was pretty good; on the other hand. they came with something like half a dozen ketchup packets, which just seemed kind of… I dunno. Needless? Cheap? A bottle of ketchup would have worked a thousand times better, but since the menu itself billed it as «Waffle fries with ketchup», I can only assume that they don’t have that sort of luxury. Thankfully, the fries were more or less perfectly good without me needing the ketchup. Then came the actual meal. Hoo, boy. I’d asked the guy behind the counter for his recommendation from the pastas. Without hesitation, he suggested the chicken carbonara. I really don’t know what he could have seen in it. Or tasted. I mean, literally, I don’t know what he could have tasted. Texture-wise it was fine, but the pasta and alfredo sauce were completely flavorless, and while the bacon was savory and salty as it should be, the chicken did little to contribute anything. My wife had the lasagna bianco, which was apparently not much better – she didn’t see or taste any onion in it, and not much spinach. Both of these came with garlic bread, which was… I dunno. All right? It was crispy, and there was an quick impression of garlic flavor, but the oil or butter or whatever tangibly squeezed out of the bread as I chewed. About midway through, my wife realized she hadn’t gotten the chocolate chip cookies for dessert she’d ordered with the meal. When we asked the server about it, he said they were cooking as we spoke. They came to our table still relatively warm. And here YMMV on how good these are, so I’ll break it down. These were, along with the fries, the best things we had here, with good flavor and everything. The outside was well-browned, the sort of thing that almost makes you wonder if they were overcooked, but they weren’t. Given the situation, I imagine they’re cooked relatively quickly at high temperatures; the insides weren’t just soft and chewy, they were practically uncooked – warm and sweet and providing a contrast with the external crispiness, but kind of raw – and that turned my wife off. This is a new location, it seems, and they may well still be finding their footing. The other review I see here is pretty glowing, so maybe our first impression here was an atypically bad one. But first impressions have to count for something, and we aren’t likely to come back here anytime soon.

I loved the location at the Forest/Preston shopping center so much when I moved to Carrollton I would drive all the way there for my usual Pizza wings and toasted raviolis. But guess what!!! They opened a new location in Carrollton and it is awesome! They must have followed me here love you guys! Try them out!
