Uptown Cuts

Uptown’s the place to go for a great haircut and a beard trim. Eric has been cutting my hair for several years now and I won’t go anywhere else. He’s skilled with scissors, clippers and straight razor. Always get compliments on my hair and beard. Eric’s the reason. Everyone there is friendly and greets you when you come in. Very skilled barbers, similar to ones you’d find outside an Army base. Would I recommend them? Heck ya, but call ahead for an appointment or be prepared to wait a good moment.

Been coming here since 2011. The best barbershop in DFW. They do get busy at times, so I suggest getting an appointment. Similar feel to a shop you might have seen in the movie «The Barber Shop».

Professionalism? Punctual? Quiet ambiance? Stop kidding your pretentious ass. If you have seen «The Barber Shop», then one would come to expect what this place resembles.
Any style, any cut, it is possible here with the talented, colorful stock of barbers. Appointments are highly recommended. If you show up without one, then expect to share a similar experience to Reaper R. My personal favorite barber is Ivy, but anyone when he is not available, is capable to delivering what you envisioned provided you tell them exactly how you would like your dome to look upon completion. Perfection is absent in life, but they aspire to obtain it when it comes to your head, beard, mustache, and for the right price, maybe your manscaping needs.
Being Asian, I believe we have the most difficult and stubborn hair to tame, but not with Ivy. Show him a picture, tell him how you want it, then it shall be done. I was lucky to find this place since it was so close to the homestead. I have been coming here for a few years now and the service is top notch if you do not come in with your nose held high.

It has a sporty-​urban feel to it. The guys have buzz cuts and wear Jordan’s. I’m not a fan of small talk when getting my haircut, so I didn’t mind that the barber’s were just talking amongst themselves. This was my second time going; walk-​in, say I want a haircut, then straight to the chair. The length of time to get my hair cut was about 30 minutes, but it turned out perfect both times! :-)

If you want a haircut go somewhere else, if you want to sit around and be ignored then this is the place to go. What a waste of time!!!

Tried this place a few times. While the haircut was decent the service was poor. The employees spend more time talking and answering their personal phones than working. Each time I went there was only 1 or 2 people ahead, but I still had to wait nearly two hours. I won’t go back.
