Waffle House

Love this place. Real food, prepared fresh and at an affordable price. I love the diner talk and the no frills component of this restaurant. I have come at all times of the day and service is always fantastic and food is great. First time taking food to go this oat weekend but it was still great. Don’t be afraid of the big yellow sign, this is the nicest location and it’s in the middle of suburbia Carrollton.

This was one of the first places my husband and I ate when coming to Texas and we were disappointed with this location! Food was just ok and felt like we were being judged because we didn’t want pork/​bacon on any of our meals… Sadly we’ve been here two years now and never ate here again (we live 1 min away). Maybe another Waffle House can do better.

A pretty good Waffle House. Fairly clean and good food. Of course you get a good serving of vitamin «G» (Grease) but being from Texas, that is one of our major food groups. Seriously, the food is good and the waitresses are friendly and try really hard.

Second waffle house review. This one is much cleaner than my previously reviewed waffel house. Love the atmosphere and food. Service is always great.

We frequently visit this location– Today the food and service was less than desirable!

Come here often with my friends, sometimes several times a week. The staff is friendly towards the customers, however I have seen arguments happen between the staff.
Did have a bad experience here once where my friends and I had to clear and set our own table and waited almost 30 minutes before being asked for our drinks. We were probably there for 2 hours that night.
Other than that one bad experience, all the other times have been alright. The prices are really good, and the food is not bad.

Cheap prices for Good food. Waffles are delicious and pretty cheap. People are very nice. They’re always open. The restaurant does feel a little bit dirty tho, but that’s just probably bothers me and not most people. Overall I love this place. In my opinion, their waffles are better than I hops pancakes.

I have always loved the Waffle House!
I come to this location because of the cook. I think her name is Tiffany she is very fast and the food is always good. She works between 6am and noon. If she leaves her I will follow her.lol. Her brother also works here and he is a good cook too.
I always get cheese grits and eggs and bacon. Also I can’t forget my orange juice! The best part about Waffle House is orange juice is only $ 1! I love it! I also love the fact that they use real eggs.
The reason why I gave them 3 stars is because when I lived in Louisiana they had an eggs and pork chops breakfast and they don’t have it here.
All in all it is the Waffle House and I will be back.

Friendly service, they give you alot of food, but the taste is lacking… scrambled eggs did not taste good, nor the sausage… portion was good, but they need to work on getting the taste quality up.

Waffle house is great. The best thing is the grill is 100% visable. No chance of funny business with my food. The food is straight forward, hot and fresh. This is a working-​mans joint or a late night cheapy for younger folks with a buzz. LOL

I have been here several times and the service has been okay, until this last time. The food was horrible, or had ran out. the place was beyond. Dirty it was plain out filthy. Two employees and only two customers and there were papers all over the floor, dirty dishes still on most of the boosts, I don’t think, I’ll return

friendly staff, good food and good service. there is no smoking at this location, which is a nice surprise for Waffle Houses.

What can I say, when it’s late at night and I’m craving food this is my go-​to place. The location is very convenient to me.
Typically after catching a late night showing of a movie my friends and I are hungry, Waffle House is always the perfect place we stop at.
To sum it up, the food is good, the service is great, fast, and friendly, and it’s open 24 hours, what’s not to love about this place.
If you’re ordering a waffle and like chocolate, definitely add in the chocolate chips for the few extra cents, adds depth to the waffle (not to say that plain waffles aren’t good either).
I’ve also ordered Togo from Waffle House (don’t judge) and everything was just as good Togo!

This is one of the better WH locations, clean, friendly and awesome nice staff! I go weekly! Non smoking as well. so thumbs up!

The very first Waffle House we visited was in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That visit impressed us so much that when we came home we decided to try the local one, and we weren’t disappointed one bit.
Waffles are yummy generally, and are one of my favorite breakfast food items. So I am always on the lookout for a good waffle. Waffle House has their own unique recipe for waffles, and I like it a lot. The other «waffle accessories» like bacon, sausage, ham, and eggs are also good here. The coffee is even good, which frankly surprised me.
The service isn’t great, but is usually acceptable. The waitstaff is always scurrying about and looking tired — understandably, since they seem so terribly overworked at breakfast time.
In short, this and other local WH locations are on our permanent list of good breakfast places. And it’s a cheap date.

My bf and I have now made it a yearly tradition to eat breakfast at this Waffle House every Christmas. Its fairly close to home and its the only breakfast we can find on Christmas that isn’t over 50 bucks a person. There is usually a wait on this day, but what else are we doing? We just chill out and people watch until a table opens up. BTW, this Waffle House is completely non-​smoking. On this one day of Waffle House dining a year, I always manage to slam down a waffle, eggs, toast, bacon, and hashbrowns. I always wear my PJs that I slept in last night and I don’t brush my hair. When in Rome. Then I go back home and drink mimosas and play Rockband until I’m passed out drooling on the couch.
I want to thank Waffle House for being a part of my high-​class Christmas tradition. 2 years in a row and running.
