We have found this to be convenient, clean, and cost effective.(Like the alliteration?) It is convenient for us as we live in Reno, but my medical care is all in Carson City. It is really really easy for us to stop in on our way either to or from an appointment. The cleanliness issue speaks for itself. The outside is free of trash and the pump area is maintained with plenty of window cleaning necessities. All the pumps have been functional every time we have been there. Compared to Reno gas prices, it is almost worth the drive to Carson just to get gas. It was under the $ 2 mark a couple of weeks ago. We make a point to fill up when we are going this direction. A little awkward accessing the station when you are traveling North, but not a huge inconvenience.

I live in the area and this place hardly has gas(Maybe they don’t pay bills). Stopped in around 1am, door was wide open, cashier was in the corner reading, got my items then he say’s «Hey we are closed» kinda stupid I thought and voiced it, asking why is the door open and why did you wait so long to tell me. Don’t waste your time there’s a 7 – 11 down the street, and another ampm a mile and half down Carson/395 with better priced gas.

Clean and cheap. Every time I go to Carson, this is the first place I hit up.

This is the AM-PM/Arco on the far noth end of town. Like the other similar stores in town(there are 3 total on Carson St) it has a nice selection of snacks and cold drinks. Sometimes, however, the gas prices at this one are a few cents more than the one in the center of town, so I almost always skip this one on the way in to town to check the others for comparison purposes.

AM/PM is pretty much the same everywhere. Cheap gas, no credit cards to pay for gas, a selection of need right now type items in a simple layout with familiar colors. This store excels by being staffed by friendly workers and being conveniently located just off of N. Carson on the way into(or out of town). The light is just as long whether you’re turning onto N. Carson as it is if you’re going straight so you get the feeling that by stopping there you’re really not losing anything. I hate the new .45 charge to get gas via an ATM card, but it’s still the second cheapest gas in town after Costco. Consistently if I can sock it to the oil companies(or at least try) I feel better as they should be investing more in renewable, less polluting energies, but they refuse to do so. I say it’s the best place to get gas in N Carson City.

Glad this is has reopened. My mom recently had a two week stay at the hospital. After my mom’s jeez, third or fourth late night trip to the ER, I needed some coffee, something to keep me awake. I was very impressed by the remodel. Hopefully this will be the start of enticing a food business to open by the hospital. Sometimes driving just to College is time consuming if one needs something quick to take back up to the ER while waiting.
