Dang. I’m really shocked at the horrible reviews. I am really impressed with these guys. Wow. I had a propane tank hose recall on my Itasca Navion, they were on the ball and it got done today. Carol in the service department and Miguel did a very professional job. I walked to shopping next door and then they called me to tell me it was done. I am impressed with this company. Thank you and you can do all my RV work. They were all very professional.

Terrible customer service. Salesman on phone refused to answer question about a new Winnebago that was not purchased from them. I am local and they could have had money from me by doing warranty repair. I will never bring my new rig there and Winnebago will get a phone call from me on Monday about there attitude and poor customer service

Update****Dec 10, 2015. I contacted the warranty company today and was told they did not even receive the paperwork from Michael Hohl RV under November 19, 2015. Four days after the 8 weeks we were promised a check. Contacted a manager today and did not hear anything back. Apparently your business is not important once your money is received.

Went to the parts department to get a simple thermostat for the water heater in our travel trailer. I offered the year and make of the RV, the woman at the counter, very rudely informed me that she couldn’t look up the part that way. I also told her I have a picture of the part, only to bring on even more rudeness from this angry worker. Funny thing, I got the same part in Reno three years ago at Paramount RV, the guy found the part inside of two minutes — looking it up by year and make of the RV
I’v e never been able to find a brand name anywhere on the heating unit — today or three years ago. The woman at Hohl RV found is easier to be rude and unhelpful than to look up the part. You can bet I will never do business with an outfit that hires people such as that angry counter person. One star is too high a rating for this place.

Very poor customer service! They tried to charge me 3 hours of labor for a job that takes 30 min of time. They seem to be using their hourly rate as a service in of itself. There is a good reason why not one person has given them more that 1 star on Unilocal.I will try to avoid using them in the future despite the convenience of their location to my work.

Michael Hohl RV service center is a farce. Not only did they fail to correct a problem with my Winnebago when it was under warranty, they refuse to acknowledge the real problem after the warranty ended.
I highly suggest you do not purchase, nor take an RV in for service there.

Went to shop for a new trailer. There were four or five sales men who were all sitting together outside for the entire 20 minutes we spent on the lot. They didn’t lift a finger to see if we needed help. This place isn’t interested in your business– go somewhere else!!!

This place has to have the WORST customer service ever ! I needed to special order some parts and they said without a part number that they couldn’t. I even brought my coach in and they would not even walk out to help figure out the part numbers that I needed. I could go on forever but I think you get my point, don’t waste your time.

The worst lot in the area by far. we recently went there in search of a new travel trailer but noticed every trailer was locked which is understandable for insurance reasons. But when we asked David Mutz if he could open a couple for us to look at he said «sorry, I don’t have time for show and tell. I’m only here to help if you’re truly ready to purchase.» What a dipshit, we didn’t drive from Sparks to Carson city to window shop. So needless to say we went somewhere else where they don’t discriminate against people they don’t think have the money to purchase a trailer. So if you’re in the market stay away from Michael Hohl RV and go to Sierra RV where they’re willing to show you the travel trailers they are selling.

Absolutely horrific customer service. Bought a new tent trailer and while negotiating the price they failed to inform me that they would meet my price by not providing a battery, walk thru, or filled propane tanks. When questioned about it Mike was rude and arrogant and didn’t really care because the sale was already completed. I was trying to support a family run business and I will never purchase from them again.
Only redeeming part of the deal was Adrian who is their laborer. He went out of his way to ensure we knew how to operate the trailer. Thanks Adrian.
I think the thing MH doesn’t get is that word of mouth is very important. We have a couple friends who are very interested in purchasing the same trailer and guess what? We will tell them to go to Turlock.

I agree with the other reviewers in that I would prefer to give 0 stars. They decided to host a show. I got off work early to go with my wife. We called from the road to double check the time and they stated they were available until 6:00. We got there at 4:55 and the lot was empty. When I followed up with customer service, I was told they went home to dry out. They were surrounded by places to get out of the weather and watch for customers (including the RV used as a Sales Office). I find it intriguing that a business that sells comfort in weather would close the moment it rains (it rained for 5 minutes, we checked with a nearby business still open). Final message: «We don’t care about your business.»

Believe me when I say… one star is generous. Believe the other reviews when you see them. This place is TERRIBLE. They keep all the RVs locked and force you to walk around with a salesman and listen to complete BS the whole time.
Here’s an idea MH RV: KEEP YOUR DAMN RVS UNLOCKED SO YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN LOOK AT CAMPERS IN PEACE! No-​one wants to be forced to walk around with a salesman. That’s a totally slimy sales tactic. You’ve lost my business forever.

Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. I went to Michael Hohl RV to have a warranty issue taken care of. My Winnebago trailer was two days out of warranty. Dave, the Service writer, took it upon himself to deny our warranty claim and blame it on Winnebago. He said the replacement of a gray water valve would be $ 450.00.
After I called Winnebago I found Michael Hohl had not even called Winnebago to request warranty coverage. Winnebago covered the claim without a problem.
I don’t know if this was a case of gross negligence (they said the service writer did not know who he was talking to and thought it was Winnebago), or just wanted to make more cash for the business. Either way it would have cost me $ 450.00 that I did not need to spend.
I would avoid them when there is ANY other solution.

we just bought a used motor home from Jason seemed like a great guy. He kept calling to make sure we were picking it up, When we had already set up a appointment with him for pick up .
When we arrived to get it he took us to another place and then left .My Husband took it for a test drive with the Mechanic and the waste system was not operating correctly .
As my husband started driving it home coolant was spilling out and he took it back and asked for their help and they said if we did not have a used warranty it was our problem and not theirs. BEWARE !!! promises of a wonderful company would help at all times and not even a hour later they just kicked us to the curb !!!

We stopped to look at a travel trailer, and were told that the (factory special) price was $ 11,995. We understood that this didn’t include tax or DMV fees.
However, when we got a little more serious about buying this trailer, we found out that the price was actually $ 13,233 (without sales tax or DMV fees). They claim that the «price» didn’t include all of their costs (such as preparing the trailer or completing internal paperwork).
In the real world, a quoted price is usually understood to include the cost of the inventory, overhead costs, and profit. Auto dealers have been forced to be more honest and transparent about prices for, what, 40 years now? I guess that RV dealers are still living in the 1950s.
