I had to kill some time in Carson city & stopped in. I played penny slots all morning, leaving $ 10 richer! It was fun and the staff there were aggressively friendly! Such nice folks. Just a small place but the slots hit, and everyone was so nice and helpful.

This place for some reason has gone
started with them dropping the odds on there keno games, which makes winning impossible. now tonight they took away the self service soda machines. and the waitress on duty is too busy yuking it up with
last nite playing. i guess the owner wants his place to end up the horseshoe club. well he’s on the right track.

Much smaller than I imagined from the outside. The inside is clean and the staff is friendly. If want an intimate experience and are not looking for a large variety of machines, you might check this place out. However it is different from any other casino I have been in. I would probably not go again.

Cactus Jack’s is one of those small «dive» casinos that is fun to go to The big neon sign with Cactus Jack on it is fun to see as you drive highway 395. The casino did leave me a «minor winner» for the short amount of time I played there.
With Reno nearby, the casinos there are better. But its always fun to see which of the Carson City casinos on highway 395 is still in business.

AMAZING CASINO if you are looking to feep like part of a family! Vanessa, Bill, Burt and Cathy were beyond friendly and made my wife and I feel like we were part of their family. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary there, and they let us know, in spades, that our business was appreciated!
They also offer a neat little side gimick, where if you win 10 or more dollars on a slot machine, you get beads. 12 beads, and you get to spin a wheel for free play money! Treat them right, and you will do well there!!! Can’t say enough good things!

Don’t come in here if you’re claustrophobic. Yeeks.
Tiny, tiny gaming parlor crammed with what appeared to exclusively be multiliner slots.
I was down for trying a cheeseburger at least but nobody was manning the tiny grill counter in the back. No one was manning the cashier desk either come to think of it. Wonder what would happen if you did that in Reno.
I think this is owned by the same folks who own Jackpot Crossing and seems to have the same «help yourself to free coffee and soda» policy … but when all they have to play is flashy multiliners that doesn’t really do much good.

We visited Cactus Jack’s and found they have one of the biggest Cheese Burgers in Carson City! Delicious and served with enough Fries to eat to your heart’s content. Bring an appetite! It’s a bar stool seating arrangement, but you get to see your order being made on the grill.

Cactus jacks is small and cozy. Surprisingly good food! Loose slots and and a good bar. Cant say nothin bad. You will be plesently surprised.

Carson City is a cool place to drive through! As I was wondering «am I going the right way?» I saw Cactus Jacks Casino. I parked in a lot behind the casino (theres plenty of parking) and walked around a little before entering CJs. Theres bars and restaurants up and down this little stretch of the Highway 395. 395 cuts right through Carson City.
Sat at the bar to play some video poker, ordered a draft beer (comped as I was gaming), got carded, lost $ 5, walked around for a couple minutes till I finished my brew then took off as I had a long drive ahead of me to get back to LA.
Slots and a bar is what you have to look forward to here… Have fun.

Looking for some loose slots? Slots that will keep you occupied for mere pennies? Come on down to Cactus Jacks.
Cigarette Machines, free booze if you are gambling, and the ability to feel young no matter how old you are. (everyone else was old.)
But really… for our first gambling experience in Carson City, the amazing capital of Nevada… not to shabby.
