This place is no longer El Mariachi Loco, it is now Los Girasoles. Unilocal,please remove this listing. Can’t post without a rating so I’m checking 1 star but I have no idea if it is good or not. The previous place was horrible.

Reno, NV
Good food, name is now Restaurant Michoacan but phone and address the same. We stopped in at 6 pm on a Thursday. Generous servings, very tasty authentic Mexican Food. Tried beef quesadilla, cheese enchilada, beef taco and very good chile relleno. No alcohol, has drive thru window. Very simple place, small number of tables, clean. We will be back!

Wow, this place is really good! I tried them about 5 years ago, but apparently I wasn’t too impressed because I never went back until a few months when a friend recommended them to me, and wow the food is awesome. I am not sure if they got new owners since the first time i ate here or just perfected their recipes. If I am craving mexican food and in a hurry, this is my go to place, just make sure you call it in first! Definitely recommend the carne asada tacos.

Very basic ambiance (like a Mexican Mexican restaurant!) but the food is outstanding. Try the Carnitas (with skin) and, although your cardiologist might object, you will never taste anything as delicious. No cervesa, so take it home or go with sin-​alcohol.
