Geeks of Nevada

I keep a desktop PC at my BF’s house in Carson, just cause when I do a lot of work and spreadsheets, I really like that 26 inch screen to work on. My little laptop just doesn’t cut it for that stuff. It plays Netflix way better too! So I have this newish Dell I bought online for a good price. The hard drive starts freaking out the other day and won’t access. Even though this PC is still under warranty from Dell, I dealt with that crap before trying to get them to do something. I don’t have time for that. So I look up local PC repair guys and these seem OK. Really, not much to go on and I’ve never used a PC repair place before. So I call them up and a nice lady says bring it down and the tech will take a look. OK, I go down and bring in the PC box. They say it’ll be a few days. I was sort of disappointed on the time frame, but whatta ya gonna do? I was thinking in one day out the next or same day maybe, like the car dealer! They called the next day, told me the drive was bad and they could replace and needed a go ahead. Fine get er done! My PC now works fine again and they moved all my data from my old drive to my new one. Overall, this was way better than trying to deal with Dell warranty and all the hoops they want to to jump through. The $ 200 bucks was worth it, plus if it stops working, I know who to go back to! I even got the old drive returned to me … so now I have target practice! For computer problems, I’ll go to the Geeks of Nevada!

Thank you so much to Chris and his team for taking great care of my laptop this week! They cleaned up my very messy system, transferred all of my files over to a new, faster hard drive, and managed to stay in my budget — much appreciated as a small business owner! He has a new loyal customer for life!

Chris and Cindy are great. Cindy was very helpful checking our computer in and explaining our problems with it. Chris repaired it and then went the extra mile and sped it up. He had everything finished and returned to us within a couple of days.
We will definitely use their services again and recommend them to friends and family!
