the food tastes good here. But my biggest complaint is price, they refuse to give you an itemized receipt, they charge a different amount every time, even when you buy the same thing. And it’s always very expensive and overpriced.

Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve a single star. I went in to get my boyfriend a sandwich for his lunch and the lady asks me if it’s okay that the bread if warm(I said yes of course thinking it was fresh). WRONG. Right away I could tell the bread looked hard and very thin. I dropped off the sandwich at my boyfriend’s work, but waited to see him take a bite before I left(I wanted to see his reaction). The bread was so stale he could hardly take a bite out of it. He then asked me to take a bite, which I did and it was so stale, I couldn’t even taste anything but the bread. Not only was it impossible to take a bite of, it was impossible to chew. Because I didn’t have my phone on me, I immediately drove home, which is on the other end of town to call them. When I called, the lady working there answered and after I told her the sandwich was terrible she said«that’s why you should eat it here». I then told her it wasn’t for me, it was for my boyfriend, she then told me to drive all the way back to figure it out and then put me on «hold» when she really hung up on me. I then called back and a man answered and his immediate response was«I told you it was hard». Firstly, he did not tell me that. The lady who made my sandwich said it was WARM, not HARD. Secondly, I do believe there is a difference between HARD and STALE. Yes, when it is stale, it is usually hard, but when it is hard, that does not mean it is stale. Thirdly, he then said I could drive back with the sandwich and he would make another one. I tried explaining to him that my boyfriend had already tossed it into the dumpster and I don’t blame him for not digging it out. The man then had the audacity to say«well there is nothing I can do for you then». NOTHINGYOUCANDO?! How about having some good customer service! I work in retail so I know all about customer service and usually I don’t speak up because I get how challenging customer service can be, but this was just THEWORST. I will never go to this sandwich shop again because I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. So please, take my warning or take their«advice» and eat your sandwich there even if the sandwich isn’t yours.

This is the stingiest Port of Subs I’ve ever been to. I don’t think they could cut the meat and cheese any thinner. They’re always careful to never let the cheese overlap lest you get too much. On my sandwich today I asked for olives and got five. Five. Pickles? Sure you get two of(most Port of Subs are at least 4 on a medium) strips of pickles that are so thin you can see through them. Laid right down the middle of the sandwich. I think Port of Subs as a whole makes a great sandwich but at this location you’re getting ripped of when compared to the other locations. This has been an ongoing trend as the sandwiches have gotten lighter and lighter lately. I work right down the street and I’m never going here again. US Sub Base isn’t that much farther.

I didn’t expect much and I didn’t get much. Nothing special.

I’m a big fan of Port of Subs and this is one of the best in a generally great chain. Clean restaurant, fast service, friendly staff. What more could you want? Plus they make a great sandwich. Never had anything from here I didn’t like.
