Stayed here the first time for Father’s Day weekend. We were in campsite 12, which is a double. Loved it! It is very peaceful and beautiful here! Short walk to the stream, which you can walk across! Beautiful! The hosts are super friendly, make regular rounds until dark, helpful, and don’t bug you! A perfect relaxing vacation! Our closest bathroom was closed, but we were just a short walk from another. Vaulted bathroom, but honestly super clean! No odor! The hosts really keep up on it and the one time I went in and there was a little pee on the seat, the hosts were on a round and immediately went in and cleaned it no problem! I heard they also have flush toilets too, but they kept all the bathrooms so clean it didn’t matter to my family. Do remember to bring hand sanitizer and your own soap as they do not have sinks in bathrooms. They do have tent pads, ours was a decent size and fit our tent that is 13×7. The have a horseshoe pit and you can get horseshoes to use from the host. The playground is just a couple of swings, but my daughter loved it. They are part of the don’t move firewood regulations. Which mean you have to buy firewood within 10 miles. Which is no big deal, as right before you get to the entrance of the campground you will see a big sign on the road that says firewood for sale. The lady there has a great deal and you get a RACK of firewood for $ 10 or she has oversized bundles for $ 5. Also, you could buy firewood at campsite from hosts. They sell a smaller bundle for $ 6. We bought the rack and also wanted to support the campground so we bought 2 bundles from them. But we were confused by the fact buying local firewood is a HUGE deal but the bundles from the campground we bought, had a paper/label that said wood from Southern California. It’s not heat treated wood. So that kinda defeats the purpose of local wood. A couple other people we talked to there said this only place they go to Anymore and I must say, we see why! Can’t wait to go back!!!
