Chang Joyce, MD

Absolutely the greatest doctor I have ever had. She is very respectful and answers all your questions. Her staff members are also very nice and the facility is clean. So glad my sister-​in-​law and friend recommended her.

Dr Chang was so great!!! Yes, I waited 2.5 hours but I asked the nurses and they said that never happens. There was just a lot of urgent care that needed to be seen. I was jus super cranky because I was fasting. The entire staff was super friendly! Dr Chang is very through and took her time getting to know me and answered all questions. I never felt rushed which is huge for me! Since I am new to southbay I was very nervous finding a dr I liked! I am so lucky to have found her! I highly recommend Dr Chang!!! Oh and anther thing I love that she does is her office has MyChart. You get all your results on line and you can send messages to her as well!!! Awesome!!!

i love my dr, she always listens, is very thourough. she replies to all of my messages on time. i will stay with her for the rest of my life.

I had originally tried to make an appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Duenas, my on paper doctor, but her schedule was booked a month in advance. Any other lady doctors? Dr. Chang had some time to see me, and that visit sealed the deal.
Dr. Chang is very matter of fact. She asks a lot of questions to make sure she’s got the whole picture to best help you get better and to keep being healthy. But no worries if you’re there to see her with an awkward issue. There’s no one who makes embarrassing medical stuff easy to talk about better than Dr. Chang. She’s also very fond of ordering tests, (including some you’ve never heard of or seen on an episode of House) to make sure she catches those 1 in a million diagnoses and she doesn’t miss anything. Dr. Chang is also very much for keeping the patient informed. I never leave her office without some sort of pamphlet or handout to educate myself and being proactive about my health.
I’ve had 4 doctors total in my life, and after Dr. Stewart, my childhood pediatrician who was the epitome of awesome, Dr. Chang is a very close 2^nd.

Where do I begin?! This woman is amazing and I absolutely mean it! She is my savior. I was living with a 5lb. 6oz. tumor for ten years, and had absolutely no clue; until I walked in to see her.
It was the month of October and the year was 2010… I had a cold that would not budge. I had seen many doctors, scheduled a lot of appointments, and taken prescription medication as well as over the counter; NOTHING WORKED! My mother was concerned and asked me to see a different doctor; therefore I did. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Joyce Chang, as a new patient that very day. I was able to see her within the hour and once I did, she had me out the door and rushed to the Emergency Room.
Dr. Joyce Chang had performed the tests necessary to conclude what my illness was. Upon doing so… I had to be rushed to the Emergency Room. Next thing I knew, I had to have all of my family next to me and inform them of my massive tumor growing inside of me. If it wasn’t for Dr. Joyce Chang, I would not be sitting here and typing this review. Because of the massive tumor, I have since had an additional surgery (total of two), but I cannot thank Dr. Joyce Chang enough. She is my guardian angel.
