This was the worst Chinese food my family and I have ever had. We ordered orange chicken, chowmein, fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was burnt and was very hard to chew. We found 2 separate pieces of black curly hair in the chowmein. The lady was very nice but the food was not fresh at all. I will never eat at this place again. They also charge $ 1.50 if you pay by Debit or Credit.

I grew up in the neighborhood across the street and this place has always been here since I could remember. The service is great and the food keeps me coming back. I think everyone comes here for the bbq pork, It’s what they’re known for around town. They always give large portions which makes it easy on the wallet when trying to feed the whole family. This place is my favorite place for a fast Chinese food fix.

Awesome little gem. I’m not a fan of fast Chinese food but this place is truly an exception. Always pleased with the quality and the quantity is superb. By far the best Chinese food in Carson. Highly recommend the Orange chicken and teriyaki chicken.

Good here is hands down one of the best around. Taste great, good price, good portions and service is really good. The owner there is a huge laker Fan so that’s why I think she’s awesome.lol. Try it out you will love it. Sweet and sour pork, shrimp fried rice and bbq pork!

Place is always good. Small and a bit hard to find but, the best place to get fast Chinese food. I like that the rice and chow mein that comes with the combo has chicken, pork, and beef in it at no extra charge. The chow mein is not greasy like most places. The BBQ pork is reallygood and they give you alot of food. The women are not rude they just not trying to be your best friend and I don’t have a problem with that.

I’ve heard good things about this place from relatives, however; when I visited this little hole in the wall myself I was very unimpressed with the food. The orange chicken was bland and dry and the lo mein was burnt. The only thing that was halfway decent was the pork. I will not be returning

If possible, try and get the Hispanic lady to help you. That Chinese bitch only serves half of what the other lady gives you.

I love this place. The BBQ Pork is the best I have ever had. When ever I’m in town I make a point to stop by. For 7 bucks you get a two item combo that is enough for my dad and I to share and I leave there stuffed. The atmoshpere is not the greatest, but I go there for the food not the lookds. I loved the fried rice as well. They put bbq pork in it, and they don’t add peas and carrots. I hate peas and carrots in my friend rice.

Okay, let’s start with the name. Chinese Deli. When I saw the word«deli» on the sign, I expected the place to serve freshly sliced chinese sandwiches of some type. That was not the case. It’s a chinese fast food joint. My guess(due to the interior) is that the place used to be a former deli, then the new owner put the word«chinese» in front of it. The name kind of throws people off(IMHO). Oh well, on to the food. I ordered a two item combo, orange chicken and bbq pork, with half fried rice and half chow mein. The orange chicken and fried rice were standard, the chow mein? Let’s just say, «No more chowing chow mein for me, mayne.» It was drier than a drought in the Sahara desert in the summer time. But that bbq pork though… OMG! When I came to visit, a fresh tray had just came out. As the lady furiously chopped up my order with the knife like a hibachi chef, I imagined a chunk of pork flying into the air and me catching it in my mouth with ease, like the grape-catching champion in the Guinness Book of World Records. The taste of the pork is very succulent. The«burnt ends» will send your taste buds to the moon and NOT back. You have to catch it when it’s fresh though because I came back a second time when it wasn’t fresh, and it didn’t have the same effect. All in all, it’s an alright place. Next time I’ll try the wonton soup. Stick to the local favorites made fresh and you’re golden! [note] the meal made my stomach feel«some type of way», but it was so worth it :] Peace

My favorite is not on the menu. Order the«Special Fried Rice», a meal by itself. It has pork, beef, shrimps etc… Takes 10min to cook so order ahead of time. Bön appétit !

I’ve been going here since I was about 7 years old. I’m 29 now & I still love it! It’s my go-to place for Chinese take out. My favorite entrees r BBQ pork(sweet & sour sauce on the side), orange chicken, & egg foo young(gravy on the side). There r days where each entrée will b super fresh & days where u can tell that they need to make a refill. Either way, it is delicious. They also have ab eally good wonton soup that they make when u order it. Call ahead of time so u don’t have to wait.

this little hole in the wall is my fav chinese fast food in the city. I’ve been eating here since elementary and the flavor is right up there if not better than most chinese buffets. only difference is you will probably enjoy the deli more.

i’ve been knowing this place since it was back in the early 70’s(1974) and it was a «fish and chip» place. and then in the early 80’s it became a chinese deli. well, just to let you know. i’ve been going every since they opened and their food is authentic, fresh and good. yep, it sits under those heat lamps, but their food sells out fast and turns over fast and they are constantly making fresh food. i love to order their wor wonton soup! but it is super duper hot, i mean«take the skin off your tongue» hot!!! so be careful when eating that hot soup. i mean hot in heat, not spicy, just hot heat. i guess they boil that soup from the pits of hell when they cook it. but i love the fact they have never changed their quality of food and yes they give you a great quanity. pros: great prices, fresh food, authentic cons: they cook with msg and my feet and legs swell every single time, unless i prop them up before and after eating their food! pros again: it’s worth it! hiiiyah!

The owner seems rude and angry. It was like she doesn’t want you to order. Totally no customer service. I ordered shrimp fried rice, lo mein, and chop suey. So far, the chop suey was very salty. Lo mein was really dry. The only entrée I liked was their chicken teriyaki(I think). I think Panda Express is better if you want fast chinese food
