I feel very lucky to have found this place! It is seriously the best lunch spot for fresh satisfying food that doesn’t make you feel weighed down when you have to go back to work. The wraps are very nicely balanced with flavor, just the right amount of chicken, vegetables, lettuce and dressing. The portion is large so I like to split it. I REALLY like the vegetable/fruit juices. They have an extensive list of different combinations and the types I’ve tried have all been so delicious. The agua frescas are amazing! I love the limon pepino combination, and they let you combine as many favors as you want. If I lived closer to this place I would stop in all the time. Do your body a favor and try this place!

Maricela’s is a casual place to eat. The chicana wrap is my go-to meal, however, I recommend the tortas, bionicos, pozole, coctel de camaron and a hot summer day, a mangoneada

Tried this place out because we were in the area and craving a bionico. The menu is confusing prices are covered up, assuming it’s because they were raised. They offer a huge variety of items from what I saw on the smaller menu next to the counter that was I was barely able to read the writing was so small. The big menu is limited as it is right in front of you and only holds what I believe we’re the most popular. After we figured out that they had what we came for, we ordered! I ordered an original bionico, my cousin ordered a strawberries and cream they have 3 sizes the smallest being $ 6 and the largest being $ 9! Super overpriced, these are the types of prices I would expect at a cleaner shop in a nicer area. I would have walked out right then and go over to my go to spot with reasonable prices! But we had a craving, so we ordered mediums at $ 7 ea. The mediums in my opinion could have passed as smalls, when we received our fruit. I was hoping for that sweet and creamy taste I am used to when eating bionicos, I got the exact opposite with these ones. The cream was not cream at all it was yogurt, like straight up Greek yogurt in a watery consistency. I was put off immediately, the fruit was eh also nothing was fresh as it should have been the mango was cut weird so parts of it were hard to chew. Same goes for the strawberries and cream my cousin didn’t even bother with the yogurt because it was not what we wanted. All in all the service was nice the workers were great but the prices and what you get are not worth the try at all. Saving my $ 15 for something more sweet and satisfying next time.

First time coming here and I wasn’t to impressed, my bf was disappointed they don’t have taco in there menu, we just ordered shrimp ceviche n imitation crab, we really like the shrimp, imitation crab I had way better. The menu, nothing caught our eyes, so we won’t be coming back here.

Today was my first time, and it was delicious! I had a wrap which also came with fresh fruit and a pineapple agua fresca and it was sooo good!!! I could only finish half of it because it was huge. Fresh and delicious food for a great price. Highly recommend!

after experiencing my first mexican fruit salad, i was all up on that. went searching the very next day, and found maricela’s close to work. arrived, parked, ordered the bionoco and the man brought it out to me. visually it looked AMAZING. my tastebuds agreed. shit was BOMB. smothered in yogurt, granola, coconut shavings and raisins. MYLORD so DEEEEELICIOUS. and then i got to the papaya. i paused. i googled to make sure what i was eating was right. and then i was like WTF. and threw out all the papaya. even then, i was so pleased! they come in s, m and large and my medium was pretty filling for about 7 – 8 bucks. they have other menu items as well, and there was a good amount of people going in an out while i was there. will definitely have to go back!

I guess this is one of those places that does not adhere to their posted operating hours. They were closed at 10 am on a Saturday, so I didn’t get to try the food.

This place is amazing! I can’t get over the fact of how healthy yet affordable this place is! They really fill up the container with lots of fruit! The small is $ 5.50 and is enough to fill you up! Theres plenty of parking and it is great because the traffic signals are there which makes it easy to come in and come out! Every time I go the tables and chairs are clean which is a bonus! One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen!

Was looking for a great place to get mangoneadas, and I found it! I prefer«El Chamango» because I prefer the texture of the raspado, but that’s my preference. Had tostilocos for the first time here as well, and it was super yummy! Definitely recommend!

Food is great especially the wraps !! However staff is not so great! I noticed while waiting for my order the Kaiser Employees seemed to receive better service versus us non Kaiser employees. It was my first time here is love to return to order the wrap but sad to say no !

Man I love this place! I probably go here at least 3 times a week. The Pozole is so delicious. I’ve also tried the Torta, a Zincozadas(? Don’t even know how it’s spelled lol), agua fresca, and the frescas con crema. Everything is seriously tasty and good. Aside from the staff sometimes messing up my order I love this place.

I really love this place. The food is always freshly made and oh so delicious. The bionico– which is yogurt mixed with strawberries, mango, banana, papaya(I leave that out since I don’t like papaya) topped with coconut, granola and raisins, is so yummy. The right amount of sweet, sour and crunch. The Torta ahogada is amazing. The bread is fresh and the salsa hot! Almost as good as having one in Guadalajara. We have tried the chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, smoothies, fresh juices and fruit salads all have been delicious, fresh and of high quality. Hope you enjoy as much as our family does.

The Bionico’s are so fresh! This is the best Bionico’s I have had with apples, bananas, strawberries, papaya, mango & cantaloupe. Topped with sweet cream with granola and raisins how could you resist! All ingredients were fresh. Comes in small, medium & large. The owner saw us waiting outside prior to opening. He opened up the shop early to let us come in and sit down while we waited. Very nice warm people!

Lord have mercy on my Suga’ levels!!! Boy I tell you, this place is amazing. The manoneadas, tostadas. Raspados, all food all drinks or shakes are delicious. Every time I come here I wanna eat everything. It’s hard to find these types of food, but this place makes it very well. Everything is freshly made on the spot. I am seriously in love with this place. I also love the fact that if you don’t know what you want, or if you want to know what certain items are because of their name, you ask and the owners are so nice and friendly. They do not make you feel dumb like at other places. It’s wonderful I love these types of food can you tell?!

A hidden gem of creative Authentic regional Mexican food… with naturally fresh pressed juices. Set in a non descriptive corner on a busy intersection … This place is easy to pass by. I am glad I stopped… Order the tostadas de cueritos a popular starter with a nice cools fresh beet carrot and ginger juice. Family run the menu is from where the dry altos de Jalisco meets the tropical pacific coast… Hence the access to tropical fruits and great seasoned meats. The classic taste from Jalisco,… But that’s not all… this is also a true creative fusion of Asian inspired Mexican food! Try their Thai wraps ., Came for the chicken pozole this time. Wonderful soup with chicken instead of the classic pork. Fabulous!

Maricela’s is a rather substantial café in a shopping center across from Kaiser at the corner of PCH and Normandie. With ample parking and a traffic light at the corner, it is easy to get in and out of here. The real highlight of coming here is the incredibly friendly staff. I, however, found the food a little boring and one dimensional. We had: Chicken Posole Special($ 6.95) — a generous bowl of the red broth filled with hominy and white meat chicken(which was half tender and half chewy) served with a plate with two kinda stale fried tortillas, radishes, red onions and cabbage and some hot salsa. The posole was underseasoned, and the chicken was a mixed bag. The«chips» were stale — bummer. It was okay, but it wasn’t great. Tostada de Cueritos($ 3.75) — another stale fried tortilla topped with beans, cueritos(which are chewy, cold pork rinds), cabbage, tomato, onions and salad dressing. The best part was the beans, of which there were few. I was not a fan of the cueritos — chewy and flavorless to me. I would definitely skip this. Pico de Gallo($ 5 for a medium) — chopped mango, jicama, cucumber, pineapple and watermelon are seasoned with lime, salt and chili powder. Tasty and fresh. Definitely the best thing that we had. In the future, I would hold the jicama, because it doesn’t really soak up the flavors and is super boring. Horchata($ 2.50 for a large) — a little bit larger than the regular cup and loaded with ice, their horchata is very tasty, but there is little of it. Overall, the food was okay but not great. I wouldn’t rush in.
