Was craving pizza and came across this place. The pizza was delicious! Could not stop eating it. Compliments to the chef. The prices are good for what you get and they have many deals. The service was wonderful! The owners were very kind and really made it a great first experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Honestly my MOST favorite pizza place ever. I’ve been coming here since I was in my momma’s belly haha! The owners are super friendly and really care about their customers. There pizza never disappoints, I normally get the «Philipo’s Special». There pizza pretty big as well.

Been eating here for 15+ years and it NEVER disappoints! The breadsticks are delicious and pizza is made exactly to your liking! If you’re craving pizza, Philipo’s is a must have for sure!

The service was good and although it took about 20 minutes to get our pizza, it was made fresh so that made it worth the wait. Next time we will just plan to call ahead :) The pizza was delicious and the cheesy bread sticks… oh man. They are a must have!

I had an hour to kill before my doctors appointment and was like I’m starving then searched nearby places. Across the street from Kaiser and Pizza… hell ya! I got the special that comes with a can soda and 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza. That special is offered everyday but each weekday they have a different special. The pizza slices are thin but big slices and very tasty. I had to order some garlic bread since I read it’s delicious and OMG… if it wasn’t so fattening I’d eat the entire tray in one sitting. Yup… it was delicious! The Indian couple who seemed to be the owners were both very friendly and talkative that kept me company since I was eating alone haha. The price was so cheap for great tasting Italian food.

Came here for lunch, not from around so when I saw all the good reviews I had to try it. Had the small pizza, and it was very tasty, if I’m ever around I will def come here again. Small parking lot but can always park on the street!

Not just because the food is great, but the family that owns the place actually care
The son carried my food to my car (I’m handicapped) and refused a tip because he thought of me as part of his family.

This place has the best pizza ever it’s owned by a family who are from India and let me tell you the most friendliest to people in the world warm hearted there pizza is the best I order it all the time but you can’t order just a pizza you Have to try there breadsticks OMG TO DIE FOR

My Indian dad, awesome family run pizza joint… I seriously want to buy this joint. Prices are good, owner and his wife are such solid people, I even met his son who helps out at times who attends UCLA. This place reminds me of my hard working parents who worked really hard for their «american dream.» Philipo is my pizza man for life. I always get the special w/​pepperonis and jalapaneos… he has the best crack up laugh asking if it’s enough jalapaneos, my answer is always «no.» Hahhaah, love it.

The owner is such a character that it made our dining experience very special.
My wife and I got the two meatball sandwich (6″), one medium pizza with one topping and two drinks for around $ 17.
Meatball sandwich came out hot and it was perfect combination of sauce, cheese, and meatball.
Pizza was good as well. Medium size was perfect for two people and more.

I love love love their spaghetti and meatballs. It’s super inexpensive and delicious. Comes with a huge hunk of bread. They have a large menu with a variety of pizzas, salads, pasta and sandwiches. They have daily specials which appear to be great deals.
Service is quick and friendly. You get a ton of food for the price. Parking can be difficult because the lot is small and there are numerous restaurants in the center.

I’ve eaten food from here once and this is my first Unilocal review. the reason I decided to leave a review is because their prices, service and (if you like spicy food) the pepper and sausage sub made me a customer for life! This is my second time here and I’m about to try their 4 top pizza with pepperoni sausage jalapeños and onion I’m so excited!!! And yes family owned and very friendly!

Great pizza, sandwiches, and salads. I have been coming to this place for approximately 10 great years. Customers service is excellent its a family owner business. Often you see different family members working all providing good service.
Prices are better than reasonable.

Pizza is pretty good here for take out. Would definitely get pizza from here over Pizza Hut or dominos.
The star I feel is their bread sticks. They are super garlic-​y and buttery. Soooo good!

Came here today and it even more delicious than I had remembered I ordered the $ 21.99 combo One topping pizza with breadsticks and chicken wings. Pizza was very flavorful and crust was delicious. Breadsticks are buttery and garlicky but are not accompanied by a side of marinara. Chicken wings were juicy and tender with the small side of ranch. I will definitely be return.

Good for the price. If you find yourself at the Kaiser Healthcare facilities in Harbor City, this place is walking distance (3 – 5 minutes) from the hospital. They seem to do a large take out/​delivery business — a lot of pies were headed out the door when I stopped in to try their slices.
Pizza is a very unique food. By that I mean bad lobster is bad lobster but sometimes what I think is below par pizza is loved by others. I like thin and softer crust pizza that flops down when you pick it up. This pizza is thin crust but the slices are not soft — I held the slice by the crust and the tip was still straight out — not my favorite.
However, I think it is good enough for the price point requested. $ 3.99 for two slices and a can of soda (no fountain drinks thus no refills).
So, if you’re in the area and wait a quick slice or two, give it a try and let us know what your think. Enjoy!
