Came here at 8:30. Came into contact with what seemed to be the owner and he said they were closing when they’re sign reads they’re open till 9pm. Now I’m hungry and mad. If I could give negative stars I would. Never coming back.

I love pizza but this pizza is so nasty I actually threw up from the taste nasty and tasteless. I’m more of a New York style type of pizza this was definitely not it and it had a bad smell to it too.

The owners name is Al, he has no respect to kids, he talks to kids with bad manners and no respect, he’s racist, the food is good but he has bad customer service. If I can give him a negative review I would but this review is not for the restaurant it’s for the owner that has no common courtesy with kids and no respect.

The wings are amazing but a little overpriced for 7.29 seeing that you get about 8 wings per order. But like I said they’re amazing. The crowds in here now are kind of ghetto so I choose to take my food home.

I’ve always loved Red West great sandwiches friendly people in a no rush environment. I’m not sure how they make the sandwiches they blow most places out of the water! Great Food/Prices I will be back again for sure!

Never disappoints! Always reliable and one of the last family pizza parlors left. Please support them, they deserve it. Because once this place and other family places are gone. They are gone.

The pizza is decent, the employees are nice. BUT this restaurant needs a facelift or at least a good cleaning fast! The place looks old, I like vintage and restaurants with character, but this place is just old. It smells old too. The tables are sticky with grease from who knows how long. A couple of things to take note; the salad bar is one serving only! There are no free refills on soft drinks, you have to pay $ 1 for every refill. I rather take my business elsewhere where I don’t feel like I’m being pinched for every penny I have and can eat in a much cleaner environment.

Went there on Sunday May 24th for lunch. The customer service was very good. We ordered the ravioli with meat sauce. This dish was basically just okay. It came with a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was far from fresh. Wilted lettuce, old fruit and vegetables. I had the submarine sandwich. Again, nothing special. Played a couple of games where the claw drops down to win a prize… won a teddy bear for my daughter but the back was ripped with stuffing coming out. Overall pretty bad. We will never go back.

I have to say the pizza was good but other than that not too much of a great spot owner seems stingy only for the fact the salad bar is a one time use you can’t get seconds and the two sodas we ordered were both flat(two different kinds) and didn’t seem to even care and food took forever to make, and we’ll just didn’t get a warm welcoming to want to come back, the experience just seemed to be a dull time and won’t be going back unless it’s for take out only. I give it 2 stars because 1 pizza was good 2 prices were low and cheap but you get what you pay for in the end…

Came here for dinner, I ordered a personal size Mexican pizza and loved it. My bf ordered the honky tonk n that was just as good. Both were very tasty, like the crunchy crust and that it’s not greasy. I saw that another customer ordered a pizza that looked delicious so I asked and he said he gets the same pizza all the time(pepperoni, chicken, pineapple) I think that will b my next pizza. I will definitely be back. The restaurant was a nice size, clean, and friendly staff. Thank you for a great experience! !

Searching for a new place to eat, we stopped here. Pizza was OK, and I would rate it at four stars. However the ultra, ultra thin paper plates make this a three star review. If I were to return, which is unlikely, I would being my own plate.

Well, I have something to say things are changing down at the old red west, and that being the select choice set of people. I noticed a tougher more ghetto crowd has been coming around lately and I could not put my finger on why. And when I mean tough I mean not bar fight tough I mean loud obnoxious, trash talking chew with your mouth open, no respect for personal space tough. But why and how has the crowd changed? I finally figured it out, THETV’S ! as soon as the TV“s were placed in the pizza place all the rock headed sports fans showed up. Now sports fans are not all bad but the crowds that come here now are not fit for the family suited restaurant this place use to be. Its a battle for the best pizza place in town, and the sports fans might very well win and turn this place into a pizza slash bar kind of scene. Its really sad for the family’s that come and visit this place but maybe the two crowds can mingle and mix? but I really dont know how they can. When you mix alcohol, pizza and sports on TV’s its just inevitable for change to come. I might very well no longer eat here and just get my pizzas take it to go from now on because my kids cannot bare the sailor like talk that goes on during our lunches and dinners here any longer, its too bad.

I love this place! I have been coming here since I was a kid and there pizza is great they have the best crust and pizza sauce around. They also have time warner cable so during the dodger shut out they were my go to. I usually just get pizza but they have a salad bar, pasta, wings, and beer on tap :). Not to mention arcade games for the kiddos.

Love loveee their wings they are big and they are mild, this place has a good salad bar and good deals with pizza, on the weekends they are pretty busy and its a little hard to find a seat so thats why we usually take it to go ! You order first and then they call you when order its ready when you dine in, my husband has tried their meatball sandwich and he said its allright, if you are ever in the area for sure try their pizza and wings :0)

Used to come here in the mid-2000s. It reminded me a lot of a smaller, older version of the Shakey’s from my childhood. What I like best is the salad bar. Back in the ‘70s, it seemed that every place had one, but now they don’t seem very common. Everything is fresh and pretty simple. Pitchers of beer are nice. The pizza itself is really just OK. I swear the crust is pre-made and maybe even frozen, which lends a bit of a too chewy quality, almost a bit stale? That said, the pricing is pretty fair. The owners are always pleasant. Overall, a chill, down to earth local experience.

Well folks, welcome to the normal zone. Just a wee-bit better than a Shakey’s with a decent one-trip salad bar. It’s value-priced, average food, run by very nice people. They also own another location just south(or east) on PCH in Wilmington(aka«Wilma»). I ordered the #3 lunch special combo($ 6.59): mini pizza, one-trip salad bar, soft drink. The salad bar has all the basic stuff — along with some fruit and macaroni salad. The premium items here: good shredded mozzarella, and beautifully sliced tomatoes. You only get one plate, and one trip — and I don’t like to get salad dressing on fruit, so boo on me. The pizza(8″ mini) with pepperoni, and they offer medium & thin crust. Made to order. Again, good mozzarella. Overall, meh. The Diet Coke — well, absolutely delish. Would I go back?: Probably, in a pinch.
