Papa John’s Pizza

Only order here when im desperate. The store is clean, staff ok, delivery always spot on no issues here .
You get what you pay for, I know it questioned my decision but still fell for the $ 10 trap. Yep .,.too cheap today to know better. So i always order thin crust but the special was for an extra large original crust apparently they don’t make pizzas that large and thin crust & two topping pizza extra-​large for $ 10. Feeling frugal today, I decided to take this deal. Even though I question myself and thought «maybe I should spend five more dollars for The smaller size and get exactly what I want» but that nagging cheap angel on my shoulder kept putting my money back in my wallet!
Ordered the special XL orig crust extra sauce spicy Italian & mushroom well done. Apparently they cannot cook the extra large pizzas well done either. Booo!!! Toppings were ok but skimpy on the ultra thin sliced mushrooms. what I received was a sponge crust with toppings. Worst crust ever! No crunch, it literally was like biting into a sponge .
You get what you pay for. Take it from me, spend the extra $ 5 and get what you really want — quasi quality vs quantity & price.
Lesson learned.

A co-​worker order pizza from Papa John’s. The pizza took an hour to arrive, and before it arrived she complained about the time of delivery, and received a discount. Also got attitude from the driver; seriously? an hour? and attitude with that? Pizza was good but cold. We wont be back.

My first visit. The pizza was reasonably priced and better quality than little Cesar’s. The quality of the pizza was similar to Costco pizza. I would buy from them again.

I wish these pizza delivery services had some kind of policy in place so that when it exceeds a reasonable amount of time waiting for pizza to get to your door so that us customers can hold the company accountable when they totally inconvenience us by taking an hour to get the pizza and they r only 2 blocks away. TERRIBLE costomer service, and if the quality wasnt so not worth the cons they would be okay however its not as if they have great pizza
would reallyb appreciate an apology for the rude employees who seem to value gossiping over customer satisfaction.
i ordered a pizza tonight already been 30 minutes
guarantee it wont come before 45 min has passed.

Not the best place in customer service. I never heard of a place that does not honor coupons rather if it’s from another place or not. Just saying, ever heard of the term just give them the pickle? You as retail, fast food places need to do what you can to make sure you give great service to your customers so they can continue to back and tell people how great your place was, as well as the experience. Whatever the Customer would like or brings a coupon in rather it’s expired or from another place (just examples) HONOR IT! Hence just give them the pickle. Because now there is going to be more then a few friends I tell about this place. A lot of people are going to see what I’ve experienced. And this has been more then once, this place is like this, I’ve tried to give them more then one chances because hey we’re all human and we have a thing called life and I thought maybe they were having a bad day. But nope employees are reflecting what their thought! What blows my mind is the service was from the manager! NOT great for your customers!

I went in on this past Monday I walked in and ordered the 2 large 2 topping pizzas & 2 orders of the buffalo wings I waited about 40 minutes to get my order and one box of pizza was cold. I told the lady in the front counter I think the manager and she said that there was nothing that she could do. After waiting so long I decided not to argue any longer. I got home within 5 minutes and the pizza was ice cold. The wings had a bad after taste to them. My family would not eat them so the next morning I threw everything away. What a waste of $ 42.00. If there was less than 5 stars I would rate them a minus 0… Don’t recommend this place for nothing. I wish I could get my money back. I feel like I was ripped off. Oh and instead of 2 topping pizzas, when I checked they were only 1 topping. They made a fool out of me.

Super bad service. There was a lady taking my order but didn’t even let me speak! I tried ordering but she kept asking me over and over again that she wanted my address when I wasn’t done ordering.

Ordered a large thin crust pizza with chicken and bacon. What I got looked like a cheese pizza with a few slices of chicken and half a stick of bacon sprinkled on it.

I thought it was pretty good, wish they gave more garlic sauce for free though. Went in and ordered for carry out, took about 8 minutes for them to make a large half pepperoni half pineapple/​ham. Preferred the pepperoni, as the flagship absolutely delicious, if not underwhleming presentation. Hawaiian was mediocre and okay at best, but that was for the girlfriend. I would return, pretty reasonable prices, just wish that they had free garlic sauce, also no cheese and red flakes were offered.

I’ve never had a papa john’s pizza. I walk in and order 10“pizza with a drink special. There’s a banner outside that shows the offer. After the 4^th time i order it in the past 2 months that was the last time. I ordered half chicken half pepperoni. VERY little chicken & the pepperoni was HIDDEN UNDER the cheese. HEY WHERE THE PEPPERONI. After i looked it over VERY little pepperoni. I should have gone to PHILIPO’S PIZZA & PASTA they have lunch specials as well. Go east on pch @ normandie ave.

Had the worst experience with this location. Took longer than an hour and a half to get our pizza delivered and they are only 5 mins away from us!!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced with a pizza place!!!

Resturant advertise a $ 12 pizza with a 2 Liter soda. I added one additional topping for a $ 1.75 that should’ve brought my total to $ 13.75 plus taxes, total should have come $ 14.28. Instead my total came to $ 15.99 plus tax, total $ 17.47. When I asked why the total was so much different I was told he had to charge me a different way and the receipt was not itemized. That was no deal on the pizza I would never go again.

We prefer a thin crispy crust on our pizza. Papa John’s in Lomita has hit the bulls eye a few times now. The $ 25 pizza places don’t even come close!

I order delivery from here all the time but today they failed big time.
The pizza box was a little crushed on top when it got here and I thought «oh we’ll» but when I opened it the lid was stuck to the top of the pizza with the cheese and toppings all stuck on the lid. Gross. See the photo I added.

$ 6.99 for a one topping large pizza! carry out only but wait is only 10 minutes. The pizza is soft and chewy and their tomato sauce is sweet. Highly recommend for anyone looking a for a cheap eat.

Excellent pizzas, excellent and friendly service, and always on time. I’ve ordered papa johns from over 10 locations in 5 states and the Lomita store is as good as they get. I will continue to order pizza here even though the Torrance store in 5 miles closer (see my mediocre review of them).

Nothing really special about this particular location, just close and conveniently located. Located right next to Sushi Cal if you are feeling like a pizza and sushi or a on the other side of the plaza there is GoGo Juice for some boba and tea while you wait (wouldn’t recommend comboing pizza and boba — just don’t taste right haha).
Anyways back to Papa John’s. I feel as if this location is just like any other when it comes to pizza quality. On the bonus side there is some seating inside (about two tables or so) in the off-​chance that you just want to munch your pie down there and then. Otherwise, its got your normal Papa John’s fare and usually not very busy so you get you pizza in about 15 to 20 minutes.

This Papa john’s is located mins from where i live!!! They are usually fast and pizza here is delicious!!!
I ordered their peperoni and sausage usually and a side of their hot wings!!! delicious!!!
