This gas station always does me good. It’s the cheapest for gas prices in my area outside of the United Oil on PCH and Normandie. This gas station accepts American Express as United Oil does not. Sure — there can be quite a few(sometimes questionable) people hanging out outside of the store, sometimes asking for funds. But I always feel safe here. I’m usually really tired when I visit here late at night or early morning so I wear my «don’t play with me» face and it seems to work. Ha! The clerks are very nice to me. I frequent this place, but they seem to have the right mix of customer service skills and street savvy-ness to treat me right and not let shady characters get over on them. The store here has a nice assortment of offerings and one of those machines to check your lottery ticket quickly. I just HAD to post these pictures of the bride of Chuckie doll that freaked me out one early morning visit. Who put her there? Why is she standing like she’s ready to do something? Lol!

This is one of the cheapest gas stations in the area not counting costco. They accept all major credit cards. They dont charge a different price for cash or credit. They also have cheap fountain drinks. Highly recommended since almost all other stations dont have all that this station has. Corner location also easy access.

Not as crowded as United, so I guess better if you are in a hurry. The price is usually the same. I personally like busy gas stations as they have cheaper gas. Also, this one has less customers so you get a higher chance of being approached by a bum. At least at the United station there are so many people you feel a bit safer. They also tend to have more«out of order» pumps here … which can be irritating. But if you are one of those people that grab snacks and drinks in the gas station, this place has a way better mini mart than the United station. Recap: Pros: Cheap gas, accepts credit cards with no extra fee, huge store with snacks Cons: broken pumps sometimes, bums sometimes

Best priced gas in the area. This place finally wised up and is at least matching United Oil and sometimes beating their price by 2 cents. When you have a big ol SUV like I do those 2 cents matter! Sometimes the credit machines don’t work so you have to go inside, but it’s not nearly crowded as United Oil can get. I think I may have found my new gas spot!

I’ve gone back once and did get any fraud hits to my card. One correction to the other reviews: United Oil at 909 W Pacific Coast Hwy also accepts Credit Cards at no surcharge. These two stations are in constant price battles and have some of the lowest prices in the area. You just have to put up with Panhandlers at both stations… it helps to dress down!

This is for the gas only — Lowest Price around town AND they accept credit cards without a hike in the price over cash payment. That’s trickery, but many places use that ploy. Corner location is easy to navigate in and out at Normandie and PCH.

Sshh, don’t tell anyone else, but they always have the cheapest gas around — except for the station on PCH and Normandie; and it’s usually easier to get in and out of this place too.

My Husband works at KP and this station and 1 other spot a block away are the cheapest I have seen in the LA area. I don’t know if it is because it is close to a refinery and the delivery trucks can get to it easily, but come on, check out and you will see this place rocks. They accept cash and credit at the same price.
