I wanted to recycle some old electronics from our household and I found Evergreen Oil through the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. I gave them a call and spoke with Chris and discovered that they take residential electronics for free and were open M-​F.
We went by that afternoon and dropped off our stuff. We got rid of a 27 year old Sony TV, an old VCR, VHS tape rewinder and some miscellaneous cables and dead batteries. We filled out some paperwork and we were off. The whole visit probably took fifteen minutes.
The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I’d recommend others who are trying to get rid of e-​waste to go here. I’ll probably return in the future when I need to get rid of more e-​waste.
