I had a craving for wings so yesterday I convinced myself if I skipped the biscuit it would kinda be a high protein meal. I went through drive-thru and placed my standard 4 wings when I noticed a very confusing sign that stated, «A 49 cents customer service charge will be applied to all store sales». WHAT??? Is this even legal? This is so shady!!! The young lady at the window explained the charge could be avoided if one paid in cash or CC as an instant discount but that there had been so many complaints this procedure was being reconsidered. I took a photo as I planned on calling corporate the next day and paid with the only cash I had to avoid the extra fee. I received my change and down Carson St. I drove to enjoy my wings at home. Original recipe… delish! The next morning I needed gas so I stopped at a local gas station near the freeway and tried to pay with my change from KFC and guess what??? The freakin’ 10 dollar bill was COUNTERFEIT!!! WTF??? To make the long story short, returned to KFC the next day to a hassle free exchange… thank goodness as I was not up to arguing or the drama. Manager Roger resolved it pain free and quickly. I brought up the crazy fee they were charging and told him how devious and dishonest it was. He informed me the registers were being programmed to remove the 49 cent fee very soon. 2 stars due to the time and trouble I had to go through. Who would have thought the day would come when you not only had to check if your order was correct after going through drive-thru but had to check if your bills were real and not counterfeit. Xo

So today i decided to get KFC, i have 2 twin babies, a 3 year old and a 5 year old so i have to use the drive thru. There was a long line but its expected sometimes. By the time i ordered they told me that there would be a wait for grilled chicken, i said no problem. 30 minutes later i had to call and tell them that i think they forgot about me, the said that there was still 59 seconds on the timer. About 5 minutes later they came out with my food, I asked for jelly and they said they didn’t have any. By this time all the kids are frustrated and crying, only to get home and realize that they shorted me 1 piece of chicken. The biscuits were also dry. I don’t usually ask or want compensation for situations like this but if this was my restaurant i would make sure that anyone in my situation was compensated for their time. Cant say that i will never be back because with my kid situation I’m all about convenience.

Terrible service, drive thru never gives you napkins or forks. It happened again today. This should be a requirement of kfc, provide napkins and forks to your drive thru customers!

Management is whack here; no accountability, making lame excuses for charging me 4 extra dollars instead of apologizing and refunding me, this fool chose to argue that the girl that made the mistake is new. Finally got a refund but my meal wasn’t tasty from getting upset!

Wow this location is beyond horrible 1st of all they had nothing and we have to wait 9 or so mins i ask why do i have to move if i got here before other cars the drive thru attendant rudely tells me well i havr more cars behind but how is that my fault if i got here before it’s been way longer then 9 mins and om parked waiting on front of location they lady who rudley assisted me was a very chubby girl on January 252016 around 615630 pm its now been about 20 mins and everyone whos walked in and gone thru drive thru has left i only ordered a doublelicious sandwich and 5 dollar fill up 23 mins now and nothing on this small meal i will be contacting corporate about the long wait and rude service

Updating my review as the manager kindly reached out and apologized for the previous mishap and offered a free meal to make up for it. Had no problems this time and the employee had already been made aware of the situation so redeeming my free meal was quick and hassle-free.

My company had a company lunch for about 100 people for Thursday. we placed our on Tuesday to have the order ready by Thursday. They called us on Thursday 1hr before the food was suppose to be at the office. Stating that the food will not be ready until an hour later than the requested time at 12. This is not good, when we have Placed our order ahead of time. Very disappointed.

I did a drive thru order tonight and they took a long time, and finally getting the order I headed straight home. When I got home and opened the bags, I found that they gave me whatever they wanted to give me, and not what I ordered. I checked the receipt and it was correct, but they gave me a big bucket of chicken that was smashed down, and only the sides they suggested, not what I ordered. I tried to call the phone number multiple times on the receipt, but the phone at the store was either not working or disconnected. I checked on the official KFC website and made sure I had the right number — yep it was but the phone wasn’t even working at that store. I called another KFC nearby, and they said«yeah that store has a lot of problems, we thought they closed it down.» As I found out apparently this is one of the worst run franchise stores and it is in the process of being shut down — no surprise based on the service I got. So, I’m out over $ 40 for this meal for my family, and will try to go to the store today to talk to owner personally but not holding my breath. STAYAWAYFROMTHISSTORE! The KFC in Carson on Avalon across from CSU has been great — spend a few extra minutes driving and go to a store with a working phone and will actually give you what you order without hiding!

came here on a Saturday afternoon ordered the Go Cup a 3 piece hot wing with a side order of wedges when I received my hot wings they were beyond cooked asked could I exchange them for some diiffernt ones they said they were all like that so I did my best and tried to enjoy them but it wasn’t working

I normally come to this location after an LA Galaxy games at stub hub center… the food here is alright can’t go wrong with a chicken pot pie .the only thing is that they have such a small location and your forced to eat outside.

They always seem to be out of something I want, whether it’s wings, grilled chicken or dark meat, etc. Not the healthiest food either. Bonus points for having a drive-thru. I probably shouldn’t eat here anymore. In the battle between fried chicken chains, I side with Popeye’s.

I usually come by their drive through. I came to get some lunch earlier today. The guy at the window was really patient and extremely sweet. I cancelled an order when I got to the window — no problem & no attitude. My individual coleslaw was full too! P. S. I wasn’t charged extra for dipping sauces! P. S.S. 5 stars for my 300th review! Woo-hoo!

Witnessed, 09:50PM @ The Drive Through KFC: Welcome to KFC what would you like? Customer: I’d like some spicy wings please. KFC: Actually, we are closed right now and we are out of wings. Customer: Excuse me? It is 09:50PM.You are still open. Until 10PM. You are Kentucky. Fried. Chicken. Therefore, you should have chicken. I have been waiting in this line for 15 minutes and it is not my problem you are out of wings. KFC: Uhhhhhhh… I am sorry for the inconvenience ma’m, we will go ahead and make you a fresh batch of spicy wings. Is there anything else you would like? Customer: Gimme 30 wings. Now that’s some service! BUT. Damn, don’t mess with people’s wings!

Last night, i wanted some of their hot wings and it was already late. When i pulled up to the drive thru, i noticed that they close their drive thru at 11.30pm and it was already almost 11.40. Bummer, or so i thought… a lady spoke over the speaker and said that they’re still good to go. Thankfully, they had 10 wings left and i got it The lady was super nice and good-humoured. In fact, nearly all of the employees i’ve encountered at this store are real nice. If i didn’t know any better, it felt like i was being greeted at an In-n-Out or a Chick-fil-a lol The restaurant itself has been remodeled and has a more contemporary look to it than another KFC in Torrance. Never dined in here, but if i had to, it wouldn’t be a problem

Sometimes you get a craving for a bucket of chicken. There’s nothing you can do about it; get in the car and visit the Colonel. I drove past this location months ago and noticed they were remodeling, but really, how much can you spruce up a KFC? As it turns out, quite a bit! The kitchen is now entirely in public view — no more wondering if one of the secret eleven herbs and spices is indeed oven toasted rat droppings. The seating layout of the dining area was changed up and reflects a much more contemporary feeling. Best of all, the place was relatively spotless. It push came to shove, I wouldn’t even mind dining in instead of the usual carry-out; something I would have never even considered before the remodel.
