It’s like every other Panda. The place is designed exactly the same. It’s clean. The food is fresh and plentiful. The service is okay some days, stellar on others.

Of the few surrounding Panda Express franchises, I’ll drive to this one before the others. Staff is nice but super slow! The line is often out the door. Most of the time, their items are freshly made. If not, they have no problem asking the chefs to cook fresh batches when asked. I don’t care for the very small portion sizes you get compared to the prices. I only eat seafood so when I get shrimp entrees, I pay $ 1+ for EACH one. This is ridiculous when they count out the EXACT number of shrimp scooped out. How do I know? Because I have asked why the portions are so skimpy. I do appreciate the lady for honesty telling me it’s company policy to ONLY serve 6 shrimp(if I remember correctly). A rip-off? Yes! Now I usually get the veggie entrée and crab wontons. If anything, PE can be a little more lenient on portion sizes, but that doesn’t only apply to this store. Perhaps I will complain to corporate because I certainly don’t believe customers get what we pay for.

The staff seems friendly beginning with how every one of them greets you on your way in but as I was eating there I noticed one of the workers was extremely rude. Another lady eating in asked a worker if she could watch her boxed food while she went to the restroom to which the worker rolled her eyes and gave her a weird look. The same lady was taking orders when a man walked up asking if his order was ready to which she responded with«I don’t speak spanish» then proceeded to walk away without trying to help. From where I was sitting I could clearly hear he spoke english. She did hand him his order soon though. Otherwise the food was okay although there were a couple sides that other locations have that this one didn’t.

Very nice staff, super slow service. It’s hard to understand why the service is slow and they have a nice amount of staff working at the same time. **shrugs**

I like the place. Is very clean. Except service … Employees need discipline … some sever/cashier Gossip with other instead of taking care of us. Lucky for her. My wife was in good mood decided not to complain

This place has to be one of the better Panda expresses. Tables and floors are always clean, and the staff were quick to clean up after a mess has been found. Every time I visited, staff members were welcoming and kind. I’m also not picky when it comes to Chinese fast food(because. they are all delicious?), so I usually opt for the ones that are plentiful or just out the wok — so never really had issues with waiting for items to be made. Let’s face it, most food here are greasy as hell, so health shouldn’t be your number one concern coming in, but when the cravings hit, this place is definitely on my A list.

The quality of the food is amazing. Even though the price may be a bit much at times but it’s totally worth it. Everything tastes so fresh. The service is pretty quickly as well.

This is a fairly well maintained Panda Express. I liked how you’re greeted as you enter the place and it felt very welcoming. So far I have no problems with food choices, portions, cleanliness and overall experience of the place. The service here is prompt and courteous. This is the one Panda Express I keep coming back to. There are times when they’re not able to restock in time, but it’s understandable when there are 1 – 2 more items that need restocking and the amount of time to cook can take a while. My usual entrée is half and half(fried rice/noodles) with orange chicken with bacon and grilled teriyaki chicken(sauce on the side). There are times when I like to treat myself with the cream cheese Rangoons. I usually don’t visit during peak hours because the place is in a plaza with other competing restaurants like Fat Burger and Ono Hawaiian BBQ. There is plenty of parking though, but expect some walking unless you’re patient and/or lucky.

Dont waste your time! There are many better Chinese places in Carson. My wife picked up dinner tonight on the way home and I wish we would have cooked instead! Orange Chicken, NOFLAVOR, Fried rice, DRY, Chow Mein, Just NASTY… Best part of the meal, THEFORTUNECOOKIE!

Just a regular Panda Express. Lol They greet you on the way in, which I really liked! It takes a little bit to actually get your order started but they do their best to get everyone moving. I’m not a huge fan of Panda Express & am usually against getting it, but there are occasions when I want some or if my family wants it. They have a good selection of «Chinese food», but the main reason why I don’t like it too often is because it’s so greasy. Almost every menu item is heavy and very oily. I can’t eat enough to get full because it’s an overload of fat. But you know, to each their own. Side note: Parking here can be a pain in the booty, especially during dinner rushes because there are other food shops & stores in close proximity!

Food is great quality, always warm and fresh maybe the best of all the other locations I’ve been to. One item for improvement is that at times it can get so busy that the line goes out the door, the service is very slow and there is not enough places to sit for everyone in the restaurant to sit and eat! I will keep coming though as I come for the food.

The food was good although the cooks were a bit behind and the food trays were almost empty. We waited over 10 minutes for teriyaki sauce to be made. Our meat was cold before we got to use the sauce. We had to go to cashier twice to check on it as she said she would bring it to us. The trash cans were overfilled, the tables were horrible, water all over the floor the whole time we were there. We had to sit at a dirty table. Not enough people working in that place. I did not dare try the restroom. Very sad

Nothing to write home about this particular Panda Express location. Aside for the enthusiastic greeting upon arrival, everything else was uninspiring including the angus beef bowl that I ordered. Typical tired«fried rice» with 7 – 8 nuggets of over seasoned(salted) beef which you pay an extra dollar for. The meat had a surprising decent texture and taste, but murded with the glaze sauce stuff. During the night a few wake up calls for water were needed which will probably keep me from ordering this specific dish again…

I usually go here to grab a quick bite on my lunch. The food is usually fairly fresh when you dont have to wait for it to be cooked. :-( However, today while paying for my food, some random construction worker dining in the restaurant, went behind the counter to get his own soy sauce and folk! ***blank stare*** WTH!!! The cashier NOR the manager said anything despite the fact that that was VERY gross. Why would a restaurant allow a customer off the street(Especially a construction worker) behind the counter where food is being prepared and served. I was very disappointed by that. Its probably something that should be reported to the health dept but Unilocal will do for now.

Panda Express is chinese fast food. There’s obviously better chinese restaurants in california. But this place satisfies my tummy. Why I like this location: –Very clean. –Not so crowded –Ample parking –Nice staff The taste is pretty good, better than most locations. There are times however, where the orange chicken is too hard. It should be crunchy, but not rock hard. Also, there are times when the beef broccoli is too salty. Guess it all depends who’s cooking that day. I suggest you avoid coming here at night, since most items are out, and those remaining, don’t taste as good. But overall, good location.

This is one of the few places that have pushed me to call the corporate office to complain. I have a friend that is a vegetarian. So when picking places to eat, veggies are an important consideration. I would like to report that there is only one specific employee that ‘s a raging bitch when asking for the items, but it’s like they all have a problem(except the guys that cook, they are supremely cool) when requesting an all veggie plate. For instance, did you know that under NO circumstances can the plain vegetable mix be a side dish and a main dish? I usually order the plain steamed rice, no fried rice or noodles and they get pretty chintzy with the rice portion as if since I forgo the fat laden foods, they cut back on what they give me. I’ve seen them heap the fried goo onto plates but you ask for just the steamed rice and you get punished for it. There have been more than one(five, six) times that Ive ordered the one item, with rice and PLAIN steamed veggies and had them try to serve the rice as a scoop and the veggies as a side order(scoop) and then have a server get pissed that I’m not ordering a main dish — because what I wanted as the main was the veggies — and then they whine that they can’t serve a big portion of veggies as a main. The times that they have a manager(probably owner) in there, then they HAVETO serve the veggies because the guy makes them. I’m sick of the«ya ya ya» lip service and then they serve items against how you ordered them(no sauce — I’ve had to send something back 3 times because the server couldn’t remember not to put sauce over the chicken and then the bitch started telling me they can’t serve items against what the recipe calls for.) Big portions — sometimes. Friendly — only if you eat it the way they want to serve it. Quick service — moderate but you can tell they are just pumping you out the door and not going to do the extra to make your meal what you want. Corporate was so nice to «reimburse» me with 2 free meal vouchers for having to send plates back 3 times(all in the same visit) because the server was claiming we were making them not serve food exactly like the recipe calls for… even customer service wanted to know the employee name because just leaving off sauce is not a valid reason for getting into a yelling match with a customer — ever. I’ve since found an independent place on the corner of University and Avalon that serves a $ 1 cheaper, better quality, and in a big portion that you could split with another person. Hong Kong Express — right down the way on Avalon, and you can get«steamed veggies» that aren’t covered in a stir fry oil.

Oh, wow! This has to be the ONLY Panda Express I like so far! I still think it’s American-ized…but this particular one has an Asian manager, but that doesn’t matter because for some reason, the FOODQUALITYATTHISPARTICULARPANDAEXPRESSISTHEBESTTASTINGONE I’ve ever tasted out of all the other Panda Expresses I’ve been to. I also love how there’s Latino workers that are cool as hell joking around with their Asian manager! They were learning languages from each other when I stepped inside! haha, they were probably like«who in the blue hell is this Indian looking Samoan!?». But yeah, I ordered an orange chicken bowl for like $ 4.99 or something like that and of course, I had to get my large peach green tea!(That’s mainly the only reason why I go to Panda Express)…but like I said, this particular one has some damn great tasting food! It didn’t taste old and it had wayyyyyyyyy better flavor than the ones in Torrance!!! PARKING at this Panda Express is pretty damn cool and it’s next to Fatburger! I would have gone to Fatburger, but I’m trying to not eat as much red meat. The only reason why I went to this Panda Express was because of the tea and because it was close to my school and I HATE the chinese food at CSUDH! Tastes stale as hale.
