Paul’s Smog Check & Test Only

This place has gone to shit! I called to make sure they were a STAR station. Then the guy asked me what year my car was 98 Toyota Rav4. Then he told me the machine was down. What a liar. I had to pass the place on my way home anyway. And he was testing cars? REVIEWS ARE CORRECT. the place must be a front for something else if they keep turning people away how do they stay open. I’ve been going there for over 10 yrs or so.

Wish I could leave a minus star. I took my camper to be smog tested Paul tells me it’s too hot, he did not want to test it, he would have to remove the engine cover in the cab etc. I don’t know how this place stays in business. I will never go back to this place.

Paul is an idiot. I used to take all 3 of my cars to get smogged but he just lost my business in a big way. We didn’t have time in 30 days to fix a car to get a retest. We were 2 days over and he says he can’t do it. We have to pay. He says he was generous with 30 days. NONSENSE! My business is going to Arco. Forget Paul. HE SUCKS! HE REALLY IS A PIECE OF SHIT LIKE ANOTHER REVIEW SAID. Don’t go there!

Man this place deserves negative stars! I’m a little disappointed that I have to give this place a star. Anyways stay away from this place. This guy Tim is an asshole. Zero customer service skills and does not know how to run the machine. He ran my car under «standard» so my car failed since it’s an automatic so the Rpms and all that good stuff where off. Went to another smog shop and it passed. They showed me what he did wrong. Ughhhh I hate TIM. Thinks he’s the king of the world. Get off your high horse you just work there, has a horrible attitude.

I really wish I could leave no stars!!! i don’t know how this place stays open… I really hope both Paul «the owner» an TIM (The piece of shit that doesn’t know what he’s doing) yea that guy!!! So I go in to get a smog! Runs my truck under wrong info, had to go to another smogs station to find out he did it all wrong. What a joke of a smog station. PLEASE IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO GET RIPED OFF GO HERE! Funny thing is this dude Tim’s people are the ones that sent me to him! Come on man, you can’t be GAY an be an asshole! Most gay dudes I know are really cool!

Super quick service. Guy wasn’t extremely friendly, but I would definitely recommend it for fast and cheap smog check!

Usually have great service at Paul’s but I took my boss’s car in for a smog check and got total attitude from the guy working there. Went in at noon since that’s when Paul said his Smog Guy comes in. Got there at 12:15 and waited cause another car was getting service afterward a went in and said hi, when the guy, whose back was to me, looks up with this disgusted look on his face, apparently he was eating which I didn’t see (but that doesn’t matter) I told him right then and there, never mind I’ll take my business elsewhere. Accord to the owner the guy comes in at noon, who eats lunch as soon as they get to work or doesn’t put up a sign? Sad cause I liked going to Paul and took all my company’s work vehicles there. I guess they won’t be getting my or my company’s money as long at that guy works there.

Fast Service. Try to get here at weekday afternoon you should have no lines.

Quick service, no wait. I had to park twice because I didn’t realize they operate in back. No up sell, no lies!

Great service. I was there soon after they opened. The wait was less than 20 minutes. I like how the tech conversed with me instead of ignoring me. I will sure return here in 2 years.

They don’t answer phone but their service is great.

Excellent service. Quick in and out. Competitors in the area don’t do smog checks on the wkend. Not the best signage to find the place but worth the effort to search out Paul’s.

Such bewildering question that befalls upon someone’s suffering mind when taking their car to a smog test. Yet, fear not, this place is actually decent.
This place only charged me $ 48 for a smog check, very reasonable. Other business usually charge around $ 60 rate. This place is fast and know’s their stuff.
I came in with my 94 Toyota, and I barely passed, but the personnel offered me a great advice on how to increase my chances of passing in my next visit. This simple gesture has definitely saved me some time and money.
Passing the smog check has always been a great concern by many. However, I truly feel that this place will treat you with all honesty. This place has been here for a very long time and loyal customers are growing by day. I was very satisfied with their service and I will definitely come back again.

Awesome service! Went on my lunch break, literally took five minutes!!! So grateful for local businesses that respect my time. And it was the lowest price I could find. Only $ 48! Can’t beat that!

Got there at 11:52 and was out by 12:06. Service was fast and Mr Paul and his assistant were super friendly. I decided to give this place a try because of its good reviews and I couldn’t agree more.

Went here for a smog check and it was like most people said. I was in and out in 15 min. Tim was really nice and friendly-​even showed me how to change out the batt for my car alarm, which wasn’t working properly at the time. The price was affordable and they offer a free retest within 30 days if you fail. Most places charge at least $ 20 for a retest. I had my daughter with me and he noticed she was having a hard time doing her homework on her lap so he got her a clipboard. I appreciated the small the gesture. I highly recommend the place.

Came here right when they opened on a Saturday to get my smog check. Don’t bother going in the front door, just pull around to the side and look for the open garage door.
The check took literally like 5 minutes. I don’t know if that’s normal or if it was so fast because I was the first one there OR because the guy wanted to get back to his Simpson’s marathon but hey, I’m not complaining.
Customer service was whatever, the guy didn’t say much more than «Sign here.»
Overall, I’d most likely come back here.

I literally just came from here and it was just as quick and easy as everyone reports. The service was great. I met some very nice people. I would recommend Paul’s to everyone I know.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quickness and professionalism from the shop this afternoon.
I moved here from Virginia for work a few years back and this was the first time I had any of my vehicles Smog Checked. I didn’t think it was going to be as easy at it was today.
I was in and out within 15 minutes. The cost was under $ 50 and I was surprised to find out they are STAR certified. I will definitely be back here in the future.
