Breakfast bar still a yes but tried dinner there and looked at buffet and chose to live and pick something off menu. The food was like eating hospital food very bland. Outside of breakfast this place as I’m sure many Shoneys are pretty bad.

Decent buffet, and kids under 4 eat from the buffet free with a paying adult. Very clean and friendly service. Ample parking. We were able to park with our trailer.

This 5 star review is for one of your employees, Kathy. My dad went into this Shoney’s today, and between the dining area and the bathroom, lost his keys. He goes straight into panic mode when he loses something. Kathy patiently and thoroughly helped him look for his keys and found them in the bathroom trash can. THANKYOU for turning the negative experience into a positive one. Good service goes a long way, and my dad will be thankful for a long time!

I read the posts before coming, but decided to try for myself. I can’t speak for the past, but now it’s awesomely good! Michelle was our hostess/waitress. She was very attentive with a beautiful smile. As of March 9, 2015, this Shoney’s is worth the trip!

I cannot recommend this place. The chicken tasted as if it had been left out for a few days. Also, the salad was not good. Good service though.

Shoney’s is known for its’ breakfast buffet bar. I don’t think I ever even realized they had a full menu, or that they served anything other than breakfast food. Understand this: you have to like buffet style food. Regular folks type food. This isn’t the mimosa-jazz-brunch type breakfast buffet. It’s along the lines of Golden Corral, only the FOOD is actually DELICIOUS! You’re not just eating because it’s there, you’re eating because you’re enjoying your food. Seasoned Cajun rice is always good, bacon is always cooked just right and plentiful, grits– with cheese and without are scrumptious, skip the cheesy potatoes(they look better than they taste), and the other side dishes(and meats) are always good. Staff is constantly refreshing pans so nothing gets old, which is nice to see at a buffet. I like the fact that the lunch salad bar is fully stocked and available at breakfast, just in case you decide you’d like a little roughage with your eggs. Nice, country, «Jaw-ja», friendly folk up this way on 75. Family place. Looking forward to going back!

Went here for the lunch buffet as I was hungry for salad and fruit. Ugh! What a mistake. The salad bar was really sad. It was almost 2pm so it was far from fresh. I had a couple pieces of baked chicken and creamed corn which wasn’t bad. The fruit was the worst part however. The peaches tasted like a metal can. I knew they were canned but they were especially slimy. The watermelon wasn’t ripe and the cantaloupe was mushy. The orange slices looked like they had little black seeds except when I moved the tongs, I realized they were fruit flies. The only reason I didn’t give one star as the ice teas was good and the server was very nice. Should have driven up the road one stop for better options.

Visiting we ate here every morning for nearly a week. The people here treated us like family even when mine got a bit rowdy.

Clean and friendly service! For the genre of restaurant this is, it was excellent. Fresh options on the buffet, hot food and affordable price. Perfect for travelers like us on the road from Florida back to Ohio. The pumpkin spice pancakes were tasty and perfect in this fall weather. Did I mention bacon?

The one in Acworth is closed! It hurt me to the heart! So I drove 15 miles North for this one. It is as good as the other one. It’s «Country» as hell, but good though! Breakfast Buffet is from 6am-2pm on Weekends… not sure bout during the week.

Good all American food and good service. Don’t miss the hot fudge cake — its only 2.49! Worth twice that any day. Hurry before they are all out of business.
