The service was really bad and had to chase down both waiters to get refills on drink and when i did get a refill there was a fly in the drink. Food was subpar

Highly recommended for families. They have crayons/coloring booklet and you can ask for play«dough» for this kids. The service was fantastic and Ian was even nice enough to make small talk with our toddler. They have great beer and wine specials depending on the day. We will definitely be back. I love that they give vegan options at no extra charge. We usually went to Zpizza, so the only thing I would ask for here is organic options.

We ordered pizza and salad and kids meal. Overall, pretty good and will go back. Only complaint is the strong smell from wood burning pizza oven(it’s been that way during both visits)

Brixx serves thin Chicago-style pizzas from wood-fired ovens. The pizzas are roughly 7″ personal pizzas that should easily fill you up. This location is nicely decorated, easily accessible to anyone in Cary(corner of High House & Davis). Positives * Decent pizzas with nice ingredients * Late closing hours. Closes at 1am(except Sundayh) * Their specials are exceptional value — night owls can get 2 pizzas and drinks for less than $ 20. * Super great service. Friendly, bright-eyed, and attentive. * Brixx’s crust is on the thinner side of its style — closer to an unleavened cracker — which is characteristic of the thin Chicago style. This will be a positive for some, a negative for others. * The thin crusts means time from order to serving is very quick * Very good draught beer breadth * Affordable cocktails Negatives * Not #1. This isn’t bad pizza. It’s actually good. But I have to be selective on what I put in my mouth given the calories/saturated fat content. If you’re like me, you will generally visit your absolute favorite place. Thus, this will not be my go-to pizza place, except when it is after 10pm. I prefer Rosati’s thin-style pizza.

Being a coupon-master I had saved my Brixx BOGO pizza coupon in my pocket for some time. I like thin crust pizza more than any kind of pizza, so this is for sure my kind of place. I was debating within myself whether to have a pizza with chicken on it or not. I usually don’t like the chicken meat that is used on pizza, it is most often so dry. But Brixx Wood left me pleasantly surprised — I had the Chicken jerk pizza and it was very tasty. The chicken was flavorful(and not dry) and blended well with the peppers and onions and pineapple. The pineapple tasted fresh which was nice for a change on a pizza, too often the pineapple on pizzas are from a can. My wife had a pizza where half the side was jerk chicken and the other side was butternut squash with goat cheese and pesto. We had never seen this ingredient combination on a pizza before(Brixx has several unusual types of pizzas). This one though would have probably been better without the goat cheese. My main problem with Brixx is that the pizzas are a bit too small. I had to steal a slice from my wife when she went to the restroom and my belly was still making noises telling me it is still hungry. I had my eye on the new burger place(where I also had a BOGO coupon) next door as we walked back to the car, but stopped and told myself, no — maybe another day. Brixx is a good place to hang out and the location is good. Service was friendly, polite and prompt. Our server Ian was a very courteous man who truly seemed to enjoy his job. The sanitation rating is 99, which sounds good, but I was told the ladies restroom was a bit nasty and stinking big time.

First time at Brixx was with Meetup group for trivia. The food was good, but the majority of the Meetup group left after the first half of trivia because the questions were so difficult we were not having fun. This Meetup group has met for trivia at other restaurants and stayed for the entire evening. I tried to call the manager multiple times a few days later during off-peak hours. I was put on hold twice for an extended periods of time and no one ever picked up my call. I wanted to talk to them about the experience of my Meetup group and how disappointed we were with our event at this location. I won’t be back to this Brixx nor would I recommend the trivia at this restaurant.

Great service on New Year’s Day. Our server, Ian, was great with our two small kids. We ordered a salad, and I asked for an extra plate so I could share it with my wife, but he said they could split the salad for us, no problem. And there was more than enough for the two of us. Our kids loved their pizzas, although the 6YO was still hungry, they’re a little on the tiny side I guess. Decent beer selection and my wife finding a glass of wine she liked means we’ll definitely be back.

We dropped in here on a Friday night post 10:30pm for a take out. The staff were courteous and patient enough to explain to us what would be recommended portion to order. Their advice helped us to now over order. The Pizza came out good and everyone who took a bit liked it. This place is significantly smaller than their Brier creek location, nevertheless a keeper. Bottomline: A keeper for their good pizzas and courtesy.

My wife and I stopped in with our twin toddlers for lunch a couple of Saturdays ago. We were seated promptly. High chairs were available along with crayons and coloring paper. We all enjoyed our pizza, which had a nice thin crust and just the right ammount of toppings. Overall I’d say good service and good pizza.

I am writing this review out of disappointment. I was so looking forward to trying Brixx Pizza. I am so tired of the usual delivery style(Dominos, Papa Johns, Marco’s, etc). So I was hungry and Brixx was nearby. I found it and went in. Nicely decorated with an obviously huge assortment of beer.(no real interest to me, I don’t drink) I was the only customer there at that time, so I was seated immediately. My server appeared to be the only one working. She brought me a menu and took my order. She returned a few minutes later with my drink and took my food order. THAT’S when the problems started. As she took my order, I heard a group of customers come in. My server took my order, then went and got the other customers seated. She put my order in, just a cheese pizza please. About that time, another group of customers came in. She seated them, then returned to the other group to get their drink orders. Once delivered, she went to the next group and got their drinks and in the meantime, a third group came in. Same deal seat, get drink orders/While this was going on, there were other employees around. A couple of management looking guys, a bartender looking guy and a few more servers came in, I guess getting ready for the dinner crowd. About the time the second table was seated and my server was taking their drink order, I noticed a pizza on the pass through. There were heat lamps over the pass through, but they weren’t on. So. My pizza just sat there. The third table was given their drinks and their orders taken. Then, my pizza was«discovered» in the window, brought out to me. almost cold. I would not have needed to worry about a young child burning her mouth on this pizza. I know, I could have sent it back. but I decided that I had just come at the wrong time. and I will go back and try again, because even cold, I could tell the pizza would taste good hot. BUT, WHYCOULDN’T SOMEONEELSE, SEEINGTHEPIZZASITTINGTHERE, BRINGITOUTTOME??? BUT… there is a problem. They serve their pizza on stone ware dinner plates. Plates that are in an air conditioned restaurant so they are«room temperature». What happens when you put a hot pizza on a cool or cold dinner plate? CONDENSATION! and what does condensation to to that nice wood fired crust… SOGGY!!! get paper plates. or cardboard squares, or something!!! Heat up the dinner plates ! SOGGYPIZZASUX!.

Great service and different but delicious pizza. I got the Bronx bombers and wifey got the 4×4 and they both were right on point. They are personal sized pizzas, so if you have a big appetite I would go with an app or heck another pizza or dessert lol. Also great selections of beers, plus for me.

Very good pizza, I would like to see more vegetarian options, but I’m not going to hold that against them. Friendly staff, and nice atmosphere.

My husband and I both agree this pizza was bland. Which is weird considering we tried one of the craziest pizza’s on the menus. We had the Greek pizza which is normally on the simple side of pizzas but then we also had the Thai chicken one. Which has a Thai peanut sauce, chicken grilled a certain way plus pistachios! That pizza just tasted bland. You could taste the Thai peanut sauce in the first bite but that was it. The chicken on top and pistachios didn’t do anything for us. We probably will pick a different pizza place over this every time.

Very good pizza. Thin crust. Wood fired pizza ovens. Great looking place. You can see the massive oven as soon as you walk into the restaurant. This was a quick lunch stop for me and the kids. I got the Bronx Bomber, a nice choice of meats and cheese’s. What was great about this pizza was the fresh dried sprigs of Oregano sprinkled on top. What I didn’t like there was no classic pizza edge. My daughter and I love eating the edge. Also the burnt edges tasted like burnt toast. Usually on a great NY pizza there is some burning and scorching but never had one taste like burnt toast. The do have free wifi and a large outside seating area. What was a little strange they were almost completely empty. It was noon, but than they are located in The heart of Cary!!! I would defiantly return again and would recommend it to other Unilocalers.

Wasn’t terribly impressed with our pizza here, it came out more comparable to a flatbread and we could count on one hand the amount of each toppings we got, maybe it was the type of pizza we got(4×4 and Rustica) but I guess i expected better since they were the most expensive ones on the menu. But oddly enough other pizzas looked loaded up so maybe our cook was just half asleep when he made it. They do however have a chalkboard which is great if youre bringing kids and our service was awesome.

Good personal pizzas and relaxed atmosphere. Funny staff, and fast takeout! Will likely become a regular spot for evening meet ups, especially with the BOGO deal they do every night.

I like Brixx. I live next door and eat there a couple of times a week. The service is great and the bartenders are good. Chelsea, both Dom’s(there are 2) and Rich are all friendly, knowledgable and quick with a fresh one. Pizza can be a religious debate. It also depends on what you’re in the mood for. Brixx is more of a flatbread style with a thinner crust and is not heavily laden with big globs of greasy cheese. Lots of options and they don’t mind mixing it up for you. If you want a healthier slice, they also have roasted vegetables, vegan cheese and my favorite is the mushroom with just the olive oil, cheese and topped with arugula. I like that I don’t walk out feeling like I just ate a brick.(at Brixx. . :-) Salads are nice sized and they have a good variety of apps. They also have daily specials at the bar and buy one get one apps and pizzas after 10 which makes it a good stop for a late bite. All in all, fresh good food, good service, fun atmosphere.
