The food here is always great and good sized. The chilaquilles are 5 star. They have a special meat called cocinita pibil which is amazing in flavor.
This is all at a very nice place where they treat you like special guests.

Happy to have a new Mexican place close to home. Our typical go to for Mexican is Tacos El Norte in Lake Zurich, so this was a pleasant surprise to find something just as tasty! Delicious! Definitely will be back to try more of their menu items.

Terrific food and unbelievably affordable! Is very busy around lunchtime.
I usually get the King Burrito with chorizo and their hot sauce. It’s all wonderful.
The staff is incredibly friendly.

First experience tonight, and VERY pleased! (This will be dangerous having it so close to our home!)
The girl behind the counter, and the man serving the food, were both so friendly and smiling. Little things like that go a long way.
I had the chicken flautas and they were super crispy but not greasy … perfect! The chicken inside was very flavorful, and the side of rice, beans, and sour cream/​guacamole was a perfect addition. Not overly seasoned as it should be … letting the natural flavors shine. The guac was creamy and flavorful. My hubby got the gordita and burrito and was also very pleased with the flavor. Topped it off with a yummy cinnamonny horchata and now we’re stuffed, but happy as can be! :)
We’ll be back to Cucos soon. So glad they’re in Cary, and I have a feeling they’ll be here for a very long time!

When this place first opened they were delicious but my last experience was absolutely awful. I normally get their al pastor tacos and the meat was all fat on it and the tortillas tasted like they were sitting out for days. I couldn’t even finish it it was terrible. Its sad because we used to eat here often.

I do a lot of reviews when I’m on the road but often forget when I’m home. I know when traveling how handy the reviews of the local people can be when picking a place to eat. Easy to miss this place because the mall it’s in doesn’t face the road. It’s in the same lot as the Cary Inn restaurant. I have been eating here since they opened and have enjoyed everything. I’ve never been a big taco guy but ordered a pork taco with onions and cilantro one day along with my meal and wow. I have been eating pork tacos ever since. Squeeze on some fresh lime and look out!!!

Great food — great price — great service!
Nice menu of real Mexican food at Taco Bell prices. When I walked in the line was long, almost to the door. Dreading the wait, I joined the line. Much to my surprise, I’m quickly at the counter ordering. As I sit down, I’m greeted with chips and house made salsa. My son enjoyed a burrito and I had delicious flautas, served with beans rice sour cream and fresh guacamole. Great meal!

Great place, I ordered way too much food for one guy, I had the chirezo burrito which was equal to the best one I have ever had, 3 chicken tacos which were moist and delicious, then I tried to finish it with a tamale which wasn’t the best maybe in the wArmer a little too long as it was on the dry side but all in all the service was nice and friendly. AND TH HOT SAICE IS EXCELLENT.

first time i went right after they opened, was not real impressed, but have gone a few times since and they have greatly improved service and food. Have gone there for lunch several times now, good portions for the price.

I had to visit one of our offices out in Cary and decided it felt like a Mexican kind of day for lunch. I came across this place and any business with a donkey on the door grabs your attention. Very clean and nice inside, placed my order at the counter and they brought me out chips and salsa, followed by my food. Had a few TVs on so got to catch some Criminal Minds while I ate my lunch. While the look of the place made me think this might be a little more Americanized, the food ended up tasting fantastic. I got steak tacos with cilantro and onion on them and french fries (not knowing about the chips & salsa coming to me) and left very full. I would definitely come back here next time I’m in the area.

This place has quickly become my «go to spot» for some burritos and tacos. My only issue (and reason they didn’t get a full 5 stars) would be that the menu isn’t extensive enough, but what they do serve, they do right. It’s not meant to be a full on Mexican dining experience, I get that, I just wish that it were because what they DO do, is so delicious.
If you’re looking for the full on Mexican dining experience with a complete menu, I’d still have to recommend El Sombrerro in Fox River Grove, but if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, and, to be honest, when looking for this type of food, I’m usually looking for a quick bite or some grease to mop up the booze left in my system from the night before, Cuco’s is king.
Speaking of «kings» the King Steak Burrito at Cuco’s, get on that. Get it in your belly. You won’t regret it.

Popped in here to use their washroom while shopping at Sparrow (why don’t christian resales have bathroooms, I KNOW they have them?)
Cuco’s looked so spic and span and smelled so good that I had to come back. No goat, but I had a pork, tripe and a fish taco. All good. I thought their sauce was a little sweet and would back off on that, but really liked their green hot sauce.
Not fast food, made to order, but still pretty fast.
Friendly counter ordering. They let me hike in my Dunkin Donuts Ice tea. I’ll be back.

This place is new to Cary, the food was delicious! The pricing is spot on for 3 of us it only cost $ 23. The girls working were super friendly and they have us a free chips and salsa basket. The Horchata was good too. They offer a punch card. Buy 9 dinners get the 10th free
Now if they only had margaritas…

I have been in search of a burrito as big as my head as I fell in love with them from LaBamba’s in C’Dale. This place is pretty close but so reasonable in price. King steak burrito is $ 5.19. The tacos are phenom as well. Good mix of local are always in here. The wait is also reasonable. If I could eat burritos everyday I would go here.
