The customer service at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Cary Crossroads is amazing! I stopped in on Sunday and Lauren (one of the customer service managers) is just so polite, knowledgeable and really represents the Dick’s brand in the best way possible, I will definitely be returning :)

Just had an extremely disturbing experience at this store. I was on my way in when a woman asked my opinion on what I would do, seeing a small dog left in the car on this 90 degree day. Being an animal lover, the statistics of heat stroke in animals immediately came to mind. Many people gathered around as the urgency to help the little dog who was panting heavily. My immediate reaction was to ask the store manager to make an announcement for the owner of the car to come out so the dog could be let out for some air. Upon politely asking the manager to make the announcement, his response was extremely rude and showed complete disregard for the animals life. I am extremely disappointed in the way Dicks management handled this situation. Being a regular customer here, I expected a more compassionate response, but I will be sure to never take my business here again,

I am not a very sporty person, but when I need something sports related this is usually where I go.
The store is quite large, which could be a bit overwhelming to those (me for an example) who doesn’t frequent a sporting goods store. They divide the different sports/equipment into pretty good sections thus it’s pretty easy to navigate around the store. After a couple visits, I start to learn where the things I want to buy are located. Of course this was only after asking for assistance from my previous visits. Like some other reviews have pointed out, it could sometimes be hard to find associates on the floor to get help because the place is quite large. However, once you find one, they are very friendly and helpful.

AVOID this location!!! I would not come here again until they finish construction (estimated ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₃). There is ONE dressing room and they only allow 3 items at a time. I am currently waiting for my second time to go back into the one fitting to try on my next three items. I would leave but I spent so much time pulling the items. Also, there are no associates on the floor helping; they are all up front talking.

This place is full of sports stuff. I’ve gone in here to find a rugby ball (got it) and boxing hand wraps (they had these too). Not a ton of staff running around to help me, but the aisles are kept clean, the racks are full of options and when I did need to engage an employee they seemed to know what was going on.

You have to admit, Dick’s carries just about everything in sports you can play with a ball, slide on, run on, or send out a line hook and sinker. If you have a true aim they have it here. Getting pumped up is no problem here. They have everything to make your sporting event, your own game more fun. Even if you injure yourself, they have the kits to wrap, ice your injuries.
They have it all covered and even have a rewards card if you shop often.
This store has great parking and they keep the check out lines going fast.
This chain has got a complete line up and a staff that is knowledgeable in what sport you excel in.
I have been here a number of times and was always greeted at the door. I did not have a problem finding an associate when I was looking for something. The service is excellent.
From beginners to the weekend players, whatever racquet you are in. Dick’s has got the right one for you.
