DHD remodeled our kitchen, as well as 3 bathrooms (including master), our wet bar, and built-​in entertainment center. You can «shop around» the Raleigh/​Cary area as I did and you will NOT find a more hardworking, committed, professional contracting business. They did their best to work within our budget while also offering good advice and suggestions about our design choices. (And they don’t charge extra «consulting fees» for that part of the service as so many others do.) We were thrilled with the results and particularly love our new kitchen and master bath.
We had given DHD a deadline to meet because of a large party we were hosting. One of the final steps was finishing the wet bar. When the installers were placing the granite countertop (about 2 days before my company arrived), it broke. Luisa (co-​owner) immediately went on a mission to find a suitable replacement. She came through and was able to get the new granite installed the very next day.
When the kitchen tile was laid, Jesus (co-​owner) found areas he was not pleased with and immediately had it ripped out and redone so that it was right. Luisa and Jesus care about the quality of work that their subcontractors do and will personally do whatever they can to make sure that everything is up to their standards – including working late nights and weekends if necessary.
Their follow-​up is exemplary and they have been quick to respond any time we’ve had an issue that had to be addressed. Jesus does a lot of the work personally and his strong work ethic shows in everything he does. Although English is not his first language, he is quite fluent, listens well, and communicates easily. Luisa is a talented designer and consummate professional who truly cares about her business, her clients and the ultimate satisfaction with their projects.
We were extremely pleased with our experience with DHD and would definitely use them again.

Dream Home Design remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms. They installed new cabinets, granite, sinks, appliances and fixed our aged plumbing that was a mess. In our bathrooms they also tiled the floors, showers, and installed in both bathrooms frameless glass doors. I’m very satisfied with the work they did, especially when i sold the home because the value of my home increased and we made money!

I hired them to do tile in the master bathroom, floor, tub splash; install a vanity, install countertops and sinks, etc. They didn’t do a good job on the floor and the tub splash was crooked in every direction. They tried to fix things but did not do a good job of that either.
I now have a badly tiled floor, a tub splash that is incomplete. They walked off the job before tempting the countertops.
However, they took my money. Originally, the vanity and the countertops were in the contract – the vanity was taken out but I was not refunded my 50% deposit for that. When they didn’t do the countertops they had more than the full amount for the floor.
I was billed for things (and they kept money for things) that were not delivered or even ordered. They charged full amounts for jobs that were not completed.
It was a total rip off.
