Great Clips

One of the worst place to have a haircut. We are new this place, we couldn’t settle on a place and it was a Sunday, so the 4-​stared places are closed for business. So I decided to take our 2yr old daughter to this place.
The stylist didn’t have anytime to listen to me or discuss options. She was like «you want short or long’. Before I could decide myself she started cutting hair. I decided I am not coming to this place anymore. She was frustrated that my 2 yr old didn’t obey her command. Stupid person. There was no need to rush and there was jus one other gentleman waiting, that’s all and there are 3 stylist working on the day.
Look (attached photos) for yourself what the outcome was. I should taken the Unilocal reviews and stars seriously. It was waste of my money.

Worst haircut of my life! It looked okay when the «stylist» almost finished my haircut. Then she went for the finishing touch n turned it into an uneven butchered haircut. Stay away if you want to keep your looks!

I haven’t been to this location in a while but I had a coupon for haircut for $ 8.99 so I thought why not?
I regret my decision. I felt discomfort the whole time I was getting the haircut. By no means should someone look forward to a haircut. But at the same time, no one should dread getting a haircut because of the experience.
It felt like she was going to war with my head the whole time. She was doing battle with my skull with her clipper. I could tell she was rushing it because she did everything really quickly. She accidentally hit my ear with the clipper because she wasn’t careful enough and she was in a rush. Now I’m not a wimp or anything and I can stand some pain but you shouldn’t have to endure pain just to get a haircut. That’s not right.
When she cut the top part it felt like she was mowing the lawn. There was no technique and she was just going at it with full ferocity. My dad used to say «your hair cut looks like as if a dog chewed it» if it looked really bad. Well, that’s exactly how I felt; as if a dog was gnawing on my head the whole time.
I will not be going back.

We are new to the area and were looking for a nearby salon. When I looked at the reviews on Unilocal,I was astonished after seeing the bad reviews. My son needed a haircut, so I decided to give the salon a try. When I walked in with my toddler, a friendly staff greeted us. She was very sweet to my son. For the first time, my son had a quick hair cut without getting impatient. During the haircut, I found out the lady who was cutting my son’s hair was the owner of the salon. I really appreciated her service and our family will definitely come back again!

Been to this Great Clips several times — not impressed. Went in today for Veteran’s Day as Great Clips is offering free haircuts to Vet’s and Military Members. After waiting for an hour, at checkout I was told that this location does not recognize the Veteran’s Day offer. The stylist said that the owner is not from this Country and does not support offers from Great Clips/​does not support our troops. Likely that the owner would not be in the U.S. or have the opportunity to own a business here without the men and women of the Armed Forces. I will never return to this location!

We’re all familiar with the old adage of «first impressions,» and well, my first attempt here unfortunately illustrates that all to well I’m afraid. New to the area and looking forward to trying them since they’re right around the corner from my house, in a nice, newer location and all. Plus, I just needed a quick trim anyway, so would have been perfect for a quick trial to see if I wanted to return.
Alas, I didn’t get the chance, for from my first impression, I was anything but, well, impressed. I’m sorry, but when I walked in, there were 3 folks getting their hair cut, across from me were two older gentlemen, and then there was me. Other than the gals cutting hair, none of us looked like the kind of people who’d want to hear rap music jamming on the tunes whilst we got our hair cut, but yup, that’s what they had playing for our, um, «enjoyment,» or more obviously, theirs.
I’m sorry, you need to have a better feel for your customer base than that and, frankly, that proves just how out of touch they are with upwards of 99% of the folks like me who live around here and could probably stand to hear just about ‘anything’ but rap, especially those older gents who had that pleasant look like a grandpa and might as well just jumped off a tractor. You can bet my last nickle those guys were not enjoying it, and neither did I, so I just left before finding out if, they even give a good haircut.

It’s a Great Clips so you can’t expect great service. It’s a good haircut at a cheap price. The stylists are often doing other things during your cut. Even saw one on the phone with someone else while cutting someone’s hair. That was just terrible service.
