We went into this shop for the first time yesterday. The one employee that was there, was on her cellphone and never even acknowledged our presence even AFTER she was off the phone. She just proceeded to play a game on the computer behind the register. The only time she did say anything was to her dog that kept barking at us. The store doesn’t look very big from the outside but it is really long/deep and is packed with pet related items. We’ve been looking for a leather leash and Mutt sticker for the car, neither of which they had. When I asked the employee about the mutt sticker, she just shouted from behind the counter and didn’t come over to the sticker racks to help me look. I guess they had more clothes than anything else, but I’m not about to wear dog pajamas. We looked at toys, but they were pretty pricey just like everything else. I looked for a sale section, but couldn’t find one. It just doesn’t make sense to spend thirty dollars on a toy that Murphy will eat in a day or so. Maybe if we had a small dog, we would have found something we liked. Needless to say, we didn’t buy anything and let the employee get back to her gaming. There wasn’t anyone else in the store, but we weren’t surprised. They also didn’t have any music playing… just the sound of her video game. I would give the store more than one star, but with such poor customer service I just can’t do it. The only person I would recommend this store to would be a 50 year old lottery winner with a three pound dog.

If you’re the kind of person who likes to spoil the hell out of your pet, you’ve found your new place. Get Fido an expensive leash, or get yourself a kitty cat t-shirt. Since it’s in a shopping center like Saltbox Village, you can be pretty sure it’s going to be a bit on the pricey side, but if you like to dress your dog up in clothes, that’s probably not the sort of thing you worry about. I was impressed with the vast array of pet related products that they had(cat and dog painted wine holders, anyone?) and overall I felt it was a pretty interesting store, if not quite my speed.
