Possibilities is more than a beautiful clothing store. The owner, Kathy Wilkerson, has been in business for over 25 years, loves what she does, and it shows! All-​natural, hand crafted clothing and accessories adorn the beautiful space, and many pieces are made by local artists. Long-​time customers stop by regularly not only for a high quality, hand crafted, unique, and spirited wardrobe, but for the excellent customer service, and kindness provided by the staff at Possibilities. Possibilities has the reputation of being a hub for women to find not only beautiful clothes, but friendships and community. This is a testament to the passion and care behind the business. Thank you, Kathy, and Possibilities for being a triangle area gem for over 25 years!

This is my most favorite store in the Triangle. The clothing is beautiful, comfortable, and durable – very high quality. You will always get comments on things you buy from this shop; definitely not your run-​of-​the-​mill clothing. The merchandising is wonderful and the staff is always helpful. Sign up to get on their e-​mail list; there are frequent promotions and coupons. This is a business with a conscience, too. One of the best things about Possibilities is their annual closet sale – bring in items you no longer wear, and you receive a percentage of what the clothes sell for in the form of a store credit. (There are restrictions, so be sure to get the «rules» before bringing things in. Being on the e-​mail list helps.)

Simply structured clothes of beautiful, natural fibers. Flax, linen, and cotton do lend themselves better to the more unstructured, comfortable style representative of the clothes here. This store delivers that. Although the majority of items are natural fibers, there were a few that were not, but they were constructed in such a way to fit the overall vibe. There were a couple of gorgeous hand-​knit sweaters I could hear tempting me and I almost succumbed until I thought about the temperature outside that day and couldn’t bring myself to give in. The clothes from Possibilities are beautiful, but they aren’t cheap. One minor disappointment is the jewelry — it was nice, mostly handmade, but overpriced for what it was. There are other shops nearby with equally nice pieces at a more reasonable price.

Lots of handcrafted jewelry, accessories, and beautiful, comfortable clothing made from natural fibers. The majority of the items here lean toward a more mature clientele, but if you look a little more deeply you will find some really high quality, well-​made items for those of any age. This store has evidently been around for ages, and has quite a following as the 3 times I have been in, despite being the middle of the day there have been quite a few shoppers milling around and trying things on. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and selection, and there are usually quite a few sales items.
