As much as I love Macy*s the Cary dept store is lacking. The shoe department is really tiny and full figured gals don’t even bother coming here for cute clothes unless you are over 55. You aren’t going to find anything age appropriate or stylish. You are better off going to Crabtree or Southpoint. The Cary Macy*s clearance section in the jewelry dept yielded some nice bargains. So there are some redeeming qualities.

The Macy’s at Cary Towne Center is always a disaster. Hardly ever find anything that you want and when you do it is probably misplaced and you were lucky. Customer service is not at its highest priority — may have some luck to find someone that can assist you but don’t let them go until you get what you need. Hope that they do some work on the store to get organized, I personally remember Macy’s being«the place» in NYC to go to for shopping in the Fall to get the latest threads and trends. See and be seen. This one, I hope no one saw me!

What can you say about a Department Store that has been around for so long. Your grandmother shopped at a Macy’s and they are still around. I have to say they do have some great sales. I have purchased a number of sport coats for 75% off regular price. Combine the sale, the store coupon, the paper coupon and your CC discount. Of course now a days all of these type stores have huge sales. But I have to say Macy’s has a good selection and friendly service. I usually buy sport coats here.
