I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and love it every single time. Best hummus I’ve ever eaten. Beet salad is amazing as is the cous cous. Pitas are always warm and fresh. Really friendly service. Love!

Wonderful! Today, we had our choice of grilled meats, chicken, and salmon, plus too many sides to mention. Everything we ate(kafta, cilantro hummus, rice pilaf, roasted vegetables and grape leaves) was fresh, perfectly prepared, reasonably priced, and delicious. At Sassool, you order and pay at the counter, and the helpful, friendly staff brings the food to your table. There’s a refrigerated case with cheeses and yogurts to go, also at great prices. The highlight, though, was the complimentary«never-ending pita,» baked before our eyes. We’ll be back, as soon as possible!

The place looks inviting and upscale. Nice display of food. 3 Entrée choices, 2 – 3 choice of soups and 20 – 25 salads/side dishes. Order at counter, given a number & they deliver to table. Ask for samples– because some dishes were good but several were just okay. Beef/lamb tough n chewy. Desserts look great in glass case-many are just a version of baklava. I have high hopes for this place but the food selection needs to be more exciting with greater commitment to quality.

First time visit tonight. Tried the 4 side platter and chose 4 cold sides all very different and tasty. Husband did the same but tried the warm chicken salad. Really good! Fresh made warm pita bread came with out meal which was so tasty! One thing: it takes a while to figure out what you want and while the descriptions help it was difficult to explain what we wanted. The line would go faster if each side also had a number Much easier for the counter help to understand which we want. Wish there was booth seating and less bright lights, but overall a good deal for fresh healthy food! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be regulars!

Great casual lunch place. They have a lot of options, food and desserts for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and those with gluten allergies. The chicken kabob was cooked to perfection. I look forward to trying more items.

Love, love, love this food. It is fresh and fragrant and delicious. I had a platter with babaganoush(smooth, thick, just a hint of smokey) root salad(carrots and beets with cilantro and lemon) tabouli(mostly parsley with some quinoa thrown in) and a black bean salad(nice warm cumin flavor). The hot pittas were light and perfect pockets for filling with good stuff.

Great Mediterranean food. They have an extensive selection of items you can get by weight. They also have a grocery section. The jalapeño cilantro hummus and pita chips are awesome. Get some to go.

Exellent selection but served medium temperature food, but then you can have them heat it up for you. Bakalava pistachio nut was small but good flavor. Neomonde breads baked fresh in their oven we as very good.

I was so excited to see this restaurant opening closer to my home! Great location in a popular shopping strip in Cary. Very clean and open place with a casual ambiance. We walked up to the buffet of food choices and I decided on the sampler platter. They heated up the kibbeh meat and the bread was warm and puffy fresh! The tabouli was seasoned to perfection and everything was so fresh. I was impressed with the sweet potato salad, loaded with fresh ingredients. My husband ordered a meat dish from the grill and the server brought it to us nice and hot. Lots of vegan choices and they had a large variety of gluten free desserts. Will definitely be back as this is some of the freshest and most authentic Lebanese food in the area.

I was fortunate enough to attend Sassool’s grand opening recently. As a long time fan of Neomonde(since college) and Sassool, I was over the moon to hear they were opening a location in Cary as well. Personally, I think one should be on each street corner and offer delivery. This location looks much like the one off Strickland Rd, with the exception of more seating and they don’t have a store/bakery section at this time. I asked the owner about this and he said they ‘may’ add a store section in the future, based on customer demand. So, definitely let him know if you’d like to be able to get dry goods and baguettes there and your wish could come true! They were extremely generous in letting us try everything our heart’s desired on the menu. I was encouraged to sample a new sweet potato dish. It was served cold with a vinegar type flavor. Absolutely delish! Wow, such surprising flavors for sweet potato. If you’re GF, know they sell JP’s pastries, which are GF. I had one of those as well. My friend commented on how much food I put down for a small woman… but, hey, it’s Sassoul, I’m no fool. It doesn’t get better than this!
