I’ve never had a better do!
I visited after being given a gift certificate for my birthday. The salon was clean and well kept. April was simply amazing and she was so easy to chat with. Honestly, my hair had never looked better and after I got home, it was a cut that I could easily manage on my own. Before visiting her, I had been in the hospital and I looked and felt like death. When she was finished with me, I felt like a million bucks!
I’ve never had a stylist work with me to pick out a cut that’s flattering for my face structure while working around my wants and needs… that is, until I visited April. She gave me a cut better than I could have even imagined.
Soon after visiting Shear Couture for the first time, I moved out of the country. I haven’t been able to find anyone with Aprils skills here in Vancouver, BC and it’s not for a lack of trying. You ladies and gents in Cary should consider yourselves lucky to have her there!
Give her a try, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

By far the best stylist/​owner I have had in years! I have been going to April for a little over a year now and EVERY time I go, I am glad that I found her. Coming from someone that does a terrible job at describing what she wants, April seems to find a way to read through the craziness and always do a great job. Not only is she technically awesome, she is also extremely professional. If you were like me and sick of shopping around for someone you can trust for a great cut/​color, please try her out! (and she is tons of fun too:))

Recommended by a friend, this place is fantastic and April is amazing with color!!! I don’t think I have ever gotten my hair done and had it look exactly the way I envisioned it! She is very speedy, and I get great, natural looking results. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. If you are looking for quality and a great person to chat with, this is the place to go. Pricing is very competitive as well. You definitely get your money’s worth!
