I don’t know how this place is listed as $$ because it was the most expensive($ 75) haircut I have ever gotten… more expensive than Aveda salons. I requested a trim to get rid of my split ends, which I can’t say was successful. My appointment started 20 minutes late and though the woman seemed nice, I don’t understand how she gets any repeat business. Maybe she’s good for chemical and dye treatments, but for a haircut it was a complete rip off!

Erica at the Hair Society was super friendly and she did a great job cutting my hair. She also showed me great ways to blow dry and style it which was nice. Definitely would recommend!

I like this place. The set up is nice. Love that the hair dressers have their own rooms. I personally see Ashley. She is fantastic. She does exactly what I want every time. I am always pleased when I leave here.

I recently got my hair cut with Erica at The Hair Society after moving to the area. I found her through an internet search, and the reviews of other Unilocalers raving helped sway me to her. Having moved from Boston, I was expecting a haircut to be a little cheaper than I previously experienced in the city, but I know you need to pay to get a good service. Erica did a fantastic job, giving style to my overgrown ‘do. She was able to provide some great product suggestions without leaving me feeling like she was trying to sell me the store, which I have felt at other salons. The Sola Salon is an interesting concept. To find Erica, go to the left when you go in… you won’t be disappointed :)

Erica at The Hair Society is the best. I have never been more satisfied with another stylist. She always takes her time with me, leaving me the impression that I are the only and most important client she has. No assembly lines here. It’s important to her that you are completely happy with what she’s done for you. She’s unique in her understanding of her field, the science and the trends behind it. Going to see Erica is like going to see an old friend that just happens to be amazing at cut, color, and style! Give her a call,(925) 997‑5335

Erica Jaber Goff is an incredibly talented stylist, owner of Razors Edge inside Sola Salon in Cary. Her salon is so exotic and beautiful just like the person she is. I waited 7 years to get an appointment as she is extremely busy. I love the way she cut my hair and styled it… I have ugly hair and she turned it into such a beautiful style. My clients were happy to see me all glammed up. Her prices are great and worth every bit of it. Thanks Erica, you are one of the best stylist I have come across so far. You can make an ugly duckling into a swan.

Shana McLoud, owner of the Hue studio inside Sola is quite possibly the best hair– cutter I’ve ever had. If not the best then definitely in the top three. You know how you sometimes have to wait awhile for your new haircut to ‘grow in’? I never did understand that. shouldn’t you always look good after visiting a salon? Well I don’t know how Shana does it but my hair looks great every single day from the day she cuts it to the day I come back for another cut. Actually, my hair grows in so well that if my roots weren’t so noticeable(yes she does color too and she rocks that as well) I could go another week or too quite easily. Now that I’ve sung the praises of her prowess with a scissor lets move on to Shana herself. She is a pleasure to spend time with. I so admire her ability to connect with every one of her customers regardless of their greatly varied backgrounds. She is a great listener as well as a great conversationalist. The time spent waiting for your color to set is always time well spent when it’s done at Hue Salon.

I had a fantastic experience with Debbie McKinney here at DBM Designs. She was wonderful and very well experienced with the kind of hair that I have which is hard to tame! Her prices were extremely reasonable and I loved the cozy salon that she has. I highly recommend this place.

Wendy George is awesome. I’ve gone to no one but her for years now. This studio is exceptionally nice as well. Great facility and an excellent location. I would highly recommend Wendy. I work late and further waay than most, I suspect and she’d always acommodating with evening hours. I truly appreciate that! Thanks Wendy.

I followed Melissa DiGregorio when she moved to her own studio at the Diva Lounge located inside Sola Salon Studios. I lived in Cary for 4 years before i could find a hair stylist that would actually listen to my wacky way of describing how i wanted my hair, and finally, i happened upon Melissa. Now i am a serious«Melissa Advocate» She has been doing my hair for 3 years now and she really is great, from hair cuts to color to hi-lights, she has never once disappointed me, but she is the kind of lady that if she did, i could tell her and she would make it right. Thank you Melissa for being such professional in your field!

An interesting concept for helping small business owners or sole proprietorships get their business off the ground or even for those who want to downsize from a big salon to a smaller, more intimate setting. Sola Salon Studios has several small studios within. There’s primarily hair salons but there’s also massage, nail, and waxing studios, all operated as a small businesses. If you prefer a one on one setting with personal attention, then you’ll probably like the arrangement here. It’s a great way to keep your money local.
