McDonald’s

Not a fan of drive-thru’s because they always manage to screw you, and not a bigger fan of two lane drive-thru’s. Drive-thru’s always seem to forget your napkins, straws or your request for «NO SAUCE», and by the time you realize it you’re 4 miles down the road and too lazy to turn the sled around.
This evening it was a bit different, have you ever spent 15 minutes in a drive-​thru? To top it off the order was for 2 hamburgers, fries and a coke… hamburgers, isn’t that what you do?
Yes, the food was typical McDonalds, tasty when you’re hungry and yes the person in drive-​thru almost completed the transaction without speaking… mumble, mumble «Thank» mumble mumble «You».

I went to this location Saturday, April 4, 2015 during a busy lunchtime. I placed an order for 15 hamburgers & 15 cheeseburgers…& cookies, for my workplace… mind you, I did not call ahead. The female manager on duty smiled & said «no problem»! She got a couple others to help & got right on it. Within less than 10 minutes, I had my order, complete with smiles & «thank u for ur business» & «please come back». I heard 0 complaints from the staff, only comments like «alright team, let’s make this happen». I tried to leave tips for all who helped, but the manager politely refused it. Thank you for your fast service; my hungry coworkers were very grateful!

McDonald’s may not have the healthiest food but it is a «comfort» food, this partciular location has gone some changes outside also it use to close around 9−10pm then they decide to open it 24 hours a day 7 days a week, Why? who knows, maybe business is going up in this location or they need more business but whatever the reason is it has its goods and bad.
The good another location located within a few miles from were I live (2 locations near me) and the bad is that it is located near a bad neighborhood of Altamonte Springs with a gas station and a club that closed a few years ago.
Staff seem pretty nice in here and when I just went recently the staff was friendly and got us our ice cream quick and took our money quick. I also will add that I like that McDonald’s has two windows one to take your money and another to give you your order, some locations even have two order menus and speakers to take orders from two cars at once.
