Bass

I LOVE this store. I have never been to the outlets in Castle Rock. I really never had the desire to stop. I have worn Bass Original Weejuns since the 80s. I haven’t has a pair I years but I wanted some so bad! The place in Montrose that I used to buy them at stopped carrying them. I looked online and couldn’t find a GH Bass store anywhere in Colorado. So I ordered them from the website. I paid $ 18 shipping. When they arrived my usual size was too big! I called customer service seeing if there was a way that I could send them back, pay extra shipping, and get the smaller pair shipped. They said no. That I would have to send them back and order them again. They also said that I would have to wait about 2 weeks to get a refund from the first pair, minus the shipping cost. They cost $ 98 plus tax! There was no way that I was going to pay $ 200+ before even having a pair of shoes I could wear. Then the rep told me that there were 2 outlets in Colorado. One in Castle Rock and one in Silverthorn. I immediately called the one in Castle Rock. I live in Westminster so I was willing to drive there if they had weejuns. The girl that answered the phone said that they did! I was so happy! Online I notice they had a frequent buyers program and a 20% off coupon so I was ready by the time I arrived. I spent 2 hours in this store. I bought 5 pairs of shoes. My weejuns were $ 69. I also got a pair of suede loafers for 9.99. Then I got three other pairs of shoes because they were buy 1 get 2 free! I bought 2 cashmere sweaters that were $ 30 and lots of socks including fleece lined knee socks, what? The beat thing ever! I also got a pair of gloves for 9.99. There are so many more shoes that I want from there that I am going back this weekend. Great prices. Amazing selection. All the shoe sizes are out for you to try on without having to wait. They even have an amazing men’s section. I am so happy that I found this place.

Not even sure how we ended up in this store, but it was a great find for us! So many quality boots for *great*, actually *incredible* prices. So many choices… we ended up buying four pairs for the price of what one should cost. Can you say, «I hope now we can go hiking soon?»
I didn’t look for regular shoes since I was looking for Christmas gifts for others… but guess we will just have to head down there again!

I bought a pair of black faux suede casual boots here a few months ago. I loved them but noticed they were scuffing up easily after wearing them a few times. A couple weeks after I bought them I took my mom there. although I came in wearing them, no receipt or box, I explained to the lady working there what had happened. She immediately offered to exchange them for a different pair of my choice, no questions asked. Boy was I pleased. Most of the time you dont get anywhere if you dont have a receipt, or can only exchange for the same thing…

My wife and I finally made it to the Outlets at Castle Rock and found Bass. I’ve never been in this place, but we were both looking for shoes and hit a gold mine!
Not sure if this is every weekend, but they were having a HUGE sale. I found several pair of shoes and most everything in the store was 40% — 50% off. Even better there was another sign that said take an additional 40% off at the register! I walked out paying $ 60 for two pair of shoes (one for my wife and one for me), which should have run us easily $ 225.
Bass also has a great selection on winter sweaters, scarfs and bags and will definitely be back before winter really hits.
