Great food like you would expect at Firehouse, but SLOOOOWWW. I have given this location multiple tries and the staff is always very friendly and outgoing but its PAINFULLYSLOW to get your food. It’s like there is no sense of urgency or some process needs to be improved. Even with minimal customers, it took over 12 minutes to get a sub to go. I had already given up on even trying to go here during lunch time since the line to even order is horrendous. Today was the day when I had to admit, it just isn’t working there. I love Firehouse but will go to the other sub shops in the area just to get my food in a normal time frame. Sure Firehouse has a unique preparation method but come on, it doesn’t take anywhere near that long to get your food at other firehouse locations. Like I said, the staff is great but just very, very slow. And it may just be the process, but something is broken at this location.

Hands down best sandwich shop in town. It’s not as customizable as Subway or Which Wich but I think the quality is better. Which Wich is obviously not in town and Subway never gives enough meat without paying extra. I don’t about you but I do not keep half the stuff on their menu in mu kitchen to «make yourself» nor do I have a sandwich toaster. The wait time for my sandwiches hasn’t been that long, their sandwich toasters are timed just like Subways or Qdobas quesodilla heater.

Nothing special, just a sandwich you could make yourself with a lot of different hot sauces available.

Love this place. Has to be THE best sandwhich shop in town hands down. Always fast and friendly service. Great hot sandwhiches! The beef and cheddar bbq is my favorite but they have so many that I do like.

First visit was very slow. Slow to order, slow to serve. Sandwiches are appealing on the menu but things are not as they appear. Far too much use secret sauce — meaning mayo or something like mayo. Thiught we would give them another try. Super slow again — no really slow. The salad was fresh but catch this — the turkey sandwich had no turkey — serious — no meat. Returned it and they took nearly ten minutes to bring out the replacement. Done

I have to say I like the food here but am terribly disappointed in the wait time to get a sandwich, also the place is not well configured for long lines, if the goal is to have several customers, then the layout misses the mark. The first time I tried Firehouse was in Melbourne FL and they rocked it. Barely any wait time and they were packed. I give four stars for the food and friendliness of the staff but I take one star away for wait time and for botched orders. I had one sandwich not put in my takeout bag and wasted 20 minutes going back to the store, waiting in their ridiculous line and getting my orphaned food. My apologies to the young man behind the counter who apologized but I ignored because I was too pissed off about my cold food

Terrible service! We put an order in online at 2:20 for pickup at 2:40, we arrived at 2:50 and they hadn’t started making it yet. We didn’t receive our food until 3:20 with an apology. We won’t be coming back.

Just discovered this place! I tried the Beef and Cheddar Brisket on wheat! Yum! My hubby liked his Italian. Fast and friendly service and an excellent sandwich! I want to try the ‘Steamer’ on my next visit! Highly recommend!

Counter gal *****(5stars) — meatball horrible — Italian brisket 10 stars. Fresh shaved meat is better than A bit hi on price but would pay more for nitrate nitrite free meat!!!

I’ve been to other Firehouse locations and can say that this one isn’t up to par. I brought my sons here before a movie, and it took 17 minutes to get two kids sandwiches and a NY Steamer(even though there was only one person ahead of us). Luckily, we were pretty early, or we might have missed our show time. The sandwiches were also just ok — compared to the other locations I’ve been to, I felt like they skimped on the meat.

mehhhh. On a positive note, it is a step up from subway. Fresh ingredients, nice gimmick they have going on and very very friendly staff. On the other hand, I have heard RAVE reveiws from this place. I tried it twice, and it is just OK. Nothing special, no customization available and pricey. It reminds me of quiznos. I just went here for lunch and ordered the Hook and Ladder. It was good, but nothing I would crave or rave about. I’ve had better subs elsewhere so I wouldnt pick this out of a lineup, however, if I got dragged here I wouldnt complain either! :)

Not the best Sub Shop in Castle Rock-not even close. I ordered the beef and Cheddar brisket. They put the meat and cheese in some kind of steamer and what came out was a soggy mess devoid of actual cheese. No joke the ‘cheddar’ melted to nothing and that’s what I got on my sub. Nothing. There were no toppings choices offered, no lettuce or peppers or even pickles. The bread is smaller than Subway, the meat is marginal and the price is WAYYY higher than Subway. And I’m not a huge fan of Subway. Simply using it as a comparison. Do yourself a favor and skip it.

This store has potential to be a 4 – 5 star store. But until they get things up and running and are no longer in the new phase, they have to earn those extra stars. I cam in on a Saturday and the wait was approximately 15 minutes for a meatball sub. The manager looked lost at doing his job, and was leading a group of even more lost teenagers at most likely their first job ever. Service I give them 1 star, food quality I give them 3, for and overall of 2 stars. for now. I’ll come back in a few months and hopefully by then things will have improved.

Best sandwich shop in Castle Rock north side. The meatball sub is perfect, the New York Steamer more so … get it fully loaded. The 8″ allows you to take half home for another day after being reheated in the microwave. Been waiting for one to come to CR … glad they have finally arrived! No longer have to drive 20 miles when I crave my steamer.
