I love the work that Yolanda did on my eyebrows and how they look so natural. I was really nervous and scared (but also excited), I conveyed that to her and she eased my thoughts and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I’m really happy with how she did the microblading and how well she was able to know exactly what I wanted. She explained everything in detail and let me know if i had any concerns or questions that I could contact her. I am recommending her to all my friends who ask!!!

I have been going to Yolanda for years, and I have to say she is a master at her craft! She did my eyebrows years ago and recently had to have them done again. By the time I saw her this time she had to re-​create my brows completely. The first visit she drew them in with color, the second visit she filled them in with hair strokes and they looks amazing! I first met Yolanda 5 years ago when I needed my eyebrows re-​done after almost ten years. She did a fine job then and she just did an amazing job again today when I returned for a touch up. The color of my brows had faded into a somewhat orange like tone, so she first did a corrective touch up to give it a more natural base before she applied the actual brow color. I was surprised how quick the whole procedure was — my appointment was at 9:30am (which Yolanda also accommodated to meet MY schedule request at such short notice) and I was out and about by 10:45am. Even though the procedure was a lot quicker this time, she made sure that I was satisfied with the color and the shape and respected my requests for any adjustments. I will definitely come back to her when it’s time for another touch up in a few years. Yolanda is very patient, professional and caring with her clients, and she’s excellent in what she does!

Yolanda is amazing! I had my very first experience with permanent make up with her recently. I was pleased with how little pain there was. She worked quickly and did a beautiful job all while being a genuinely enjoyable person to be around. I had very little swelling after the procedure and minimal discomfort. I feel like the time I save not having to apply brows, eyeliner and lup liner each day really helps get me out the door and was worth the price.

This my 3^rd eyebrow procedure. The past was done in 1989 —– retouch 2000. Today it was done by Yolanda, she recreated my eyebrows. In fact updated them from Old lady to Modern Glamma. She has a gentle touch, very professional. The office was so clean. I am more than Happy. In fact, planning to return to do a correction on another procedure.

I am so happy that I went to Yolanda to have permanent eyeliner done! For a long time I had considered getting it done because without make up, my eyes disappear into my face. But I was afraid it would hurt. With Yolanda, there was no pain at all due to the local anesthetic she uses and because she is so kind throughout the whole process. I am delighted with the results!

I was referred by my cousin about Permenently Yours by Yolanda for my sparse brows and wanted to get them tattooed for about a year and decided to go for it! Before the whole process Yolanda took her time helping me with the shaping and if I seen something to adjust she was patient with me until I was happy with the brow and her as well. I also like that after the procedure she expressed to me «I can add but can’t take away so after healing I can come back if I want to fill out the shape more» at no extra charge. I did end up going back and she was more than happy to take the time to make my adjustments for me. I also recommend Yolanda ladies if you’re thinking about it! I love, love my brows!!!

I had the opportunity to have my eyebrows, eyeliner (upper and bottom) and eyelash perm done by Yolanda. She is a very sweet lady who will walk you through every step of the way. This is very important for a first timer like myself. Her thoroughness is apparent as she takes the time to find out exactly what you want while at the same time giving her input on what looks natural based on your current features. Yolanda is also extremely gentle with her technique and I appreciated that she constantly stopped to check if I was comfortable. She was able to apply more anesthetic when needed. Overall, I am very happy with my results and am thrilled that I will have more time in the morning without the need to apply eye makeup for awhile. I highly recommend Yolanda for any of your permanent makeup needs.

So…6 months later and I am still working on removal! I have done 5 treatments of non-​surgical removal and now am working on my first round of laser, which is estimate at5 more rounds to get rid of the terrible «dot» like strokes above inner corner of right eyebrow. Remaining tattoo is official blue as it has been fading with removal. Blue would be the color of my eyebrows after about a year of tattoo. I am not at $ 2,000 for removals!!!

I was familiar with Yolanda’s work in Castro Valley for a long time now. I never thought of anything done to my face tattoo wise, so I was skeptical of having my eyebrows done. I decided to have my eyebrows redone from 10 years ago since they were all faded out. Since Yolanda had such great reviews, I decided to give her a call. Initially, my eyebrows were done at a Nail Salon in San Leandro, as well as my eyeliner. Needless to say, my eyebrows were all faded out and also I was left with a botched job on my eyelid from when I had my eyeliner done. The color had run under the skin which made it look like I had eye shadow on one eyelid all the time. It had been like that for over 10 yrs. When I went to Yolanda she completely re-​did my eyebrows into a beautiful shape to fit my face. She was very meticulous on drawing them on evenly before she even did the permanent color. And also, to my surprise, she was able to fix that botched job on my eyelid by matching the color closest to my skin tone which completely covered the discoloration so that it looked like my own skin. That just blew me away! During both procedures, I got to watch what she was doing by holding up a mirror which helped re-​enforce my confidence in her and made me feel more at ease and comfortable. After all, having something permanent done does make one a little on edge especially if it’s on your face. But all in all, I was totally pleased and very happy with the results. It has certainly made my life a whole lot easier getting ready in the morning now. I even scheduled an appointment to have my eyeliner touched up in a navied-​plum color. I can’t wait! By the way, whoever the person was who gave Yolanda a bad review must have been having some other underlying issues going on that were taken out on her. I was totally shocked to have read that. I don’t believe for a minute that the eyebrow procedure done came out horrible. After looking at the photos, I thought they came out very nice. Anyone can tell that Yolanda takes great pride in her work and would never do anything to jeopardize that. If anyone was ever unhappy with their procedure, it is my belief that Yolanda would do everything in her ability to help rectify the issue. As with all cosmetic procedures there are certain risks involved as well as and certain maintenance/​care instructions that need to be followed during the healing process. If the client isn’t going to adhere to these conditions then you have no one to blame but yourself. Just saying…

I needed to have a brow touch up redone after about 10 years and I looked into locals and read about Yolanda on Unilocal.I called her and was comfortable right away talking and texting with her. She went out of her way to get me in to see her before Xmas. Important things we all look for:
thoroughness… comfort… and the big one… perfection! no of course we’re not perfect but when your putting something permanent on your face it better be pretty darn close. Yolanda was very meticulous and made sure both sides were even and that we got the shaping I wanted.
I go back in about 3 weeks for touch up, but all
went great. She used a good topical numbing gel which helps. She made me feel at ease and confident that I chose the right person for the job. I sure did !

Yolanda did a great job on my top and bottom eye liner. I would highly recommend her for her professionalism and experience. She knew exactly what would look good on me and I love it.

Based on the Unilocal reviews, I make an appointment with Yolanda for my mom to get her in-​lash liner and bottom liner. The process was quick fast and pretty much painless. My mom is 83 years old and deathly afraid of needles, so if she felt it was fine, then that means it is basically painless! My mom’s eyelashes were all white so when you looked at her, you could barely see her eyes. This light, tasteful liner that Yolanda applied just defined her eyes and made them stand out a bit. My mom absolutely loved it. It made her look years younger and even her attitude has changed. She is so excited to see her friends because she knows she looks good. In fact, it looks so good, I just booked an appointment for my sister with Yolanda. I looked at the other people who do permanent makeup and Yolanda’s work is the same quality yet she is so much cheaper.

I had my eyebrows done by Yolanda today. She has a gentle hands. She listens to you and she’s very patient with me. She did a very good job. I love it!

This is my second time going to Yolanda at Permanently Yours for permanent makeup. Since I’m a repeat customer, it’s time for me share my experience with all you Unilocalers.
Yolanda first tattooed my eyebrows and eyeliner in 2008 and again yesterday, Feb. 17, 2014.
I absolutely love the way Yolanda did my eyebrows. As a redhead, I know it’s not easy to match my brow color with my hair and Yolanda did an amazing job. Not only did she nail the color, she also shaped my eyebrows perfectly. I’m so happy with the results.
Not only am I impressed with her work, I’m also impressed with her professionalism. Yolanda walked me through the process explaining what she was doing each step of the way. I felt very comfortable with Yolanda and will recommend her every chance I get.

This is a bit delayed, but I went to Yolanda sometime in March of 2013 after doing some research on Unilocal since I badly needed my brows to get redone again. I just moved to San Leandro about a year before and I was used to getting mines done at Faces Plus in San Francisco, but after the last time I went, they didn’t do such a good job so I decided to look elsewhere.
I found Yolanda and made an appointment and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She fixed the arch on my right side and drew out the brows before starting. She took her time which I really appreciate and they came out better than I could’ve hoped for — waaay better than even my first time at Faces Plus!
She gave me a little package of ointment and told me what I should and shouldn’t do to take care of them so they wouldn’t fade as fast. I will definitely be going back probably in a few years to get a touch up, I’m so glad I was able to find this place.
