CV Scool of Music is a real find! My 2nd and 3rd grade daughters started last summer with the camp and are now each in private lessons. The teachers are terrific and the staff are professional and courteous. It’s a family friendly atmosphere with lots of lesson options. Love this place!!!

With their passion for music and many teachers to choose from, I am thrilled to see the CV School of Music here. They offer weekly lessons for a variety of different instruments and ages, instrument rentals and have a modest retail store (sheet music, clarinet/​sax reeds, guitars, ukuleles, etc). Periodic recitals, summer camps and other events make them a welcome addition to Castro Valley!

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Simon since September. She is having so much fun and at the same time she has been learning new techniques. I don’t have to remind her to practice anymore. Her confidence level has increased drastically. Simon is very good with the children, his way of teaching definitely builds confidence. As you all know, a great teacher/​coach can make you work harder and be better at what you love doing!
I loved the holiday recital. It gave a chance for the students to demonstrate their hard work.
Thank you Simon for always having a smile and having fun!

My daughter has been taking vocal and piano instruction from Simon. Alicia Keys, watch out… Simon has taught her so much, so fast, sky is the limit. Simon is an established musician in his own right and he keeps her engaged. He’s played with El Debarge and countless others. Every couple of months the school has a recital and the students get to perform. The school is clean and affordable – awesome!
