I tried this restaurant as i was jonesing for Mexican food while on a road trip. The stop was fortuitous as the fajitas and home made tortillas were very good. So good that i ate them before taking a picture. The service was also friendly.

Excellent service, very attentive. Salsa was very good but guacamole and house margaritas were just fair. However, food was outstanding. We had enchilada chile Colorado and chili relleno and a tostado. Both were very good. I had them spice up the chile Colorado sauce which was a good idea. It was great on my enchiladas. My wife’s chili relleno was the best she’s ever had.

Came across this place by accident. There was only one other table at the time, so there was no wait for seating. The service was okay initially, but after that initial waitress was replaced, the service was great. The menu was great, the food tasted great and my kids loved it! Plenty to share and the fixings was plentiful. Might have to be place we return to often!

In at 4:30.just a couple of tables seated… didn’t have oil/vinegar for a salad… never heard of 1,000 island dressing? o.k. this is a Mexican restaurant. Seriously, took until almost 6…1 ½ hrs to get fajitas. which were dry and chewy. The«early bird»(4 – 6) came with dessert and from the looks of it that could have taken another half hour so we passed. Went up to the counter to get the waitress’ attention for a check… wrote«paid under dispute»…I’ll deal with AMEX on this nightmare. Unfortunately the owner wasn’t there… he would never have stood for that lack of service.

There are surprisingly a lot of mexican restaurants in palm springs and this one was the one with most reviews near where we were so we chose to give this place a try. The servers here are super nice. Theyre very friendly and always check in on you. We got the taquitos, shrimp empanada, chicken tostada, and beef tacos. I would say i liked the shrimp empanada the best. And it was only $ 3.50! There were flies that were flying around so that was kind of annoying, but besides that, it was good!

Their food and quality and service is starting to suffer. Please get it back. Perhaps the owner is not around as much and they just don’t care as much anymore.

Found this place through Unilocal and the ratings were spot on. The atmosphere is chill, clean and nicely decorated. As for the food, its delicious, flavorful and hot right off the stove. I would definitely recommend this place to my fellow Unilocalers. You won’t be disappointed.

Well now, this is our 3rd visit to this restaurant, and am very disappointed in the preparation and auality of the cook. The abondigas soup was quickly prepared using canned beef stock with a few veggies and a few meat balls with high amounts of black pepper, rice was not incorporated in the beef or soup. The carnitas tacis was so dry it must have been sloppy seconds. The rice and beans was luke warm and not very well prepared. This is a big difference from our first visits. Previously, I gave them 5 stars for a well prepared and good quality food. This visit warrants a single star for some of the worst prepared and poor quality food. I cannot recommend this establishment.

This place has the best guacamole in the valley. Fresh, chunks of Avocado’s, made that day, not two weeks ago. Good menu with plenty of good choices. The only downside is some of the patrons screaming children! Up running around, chasing each other, etc.

This place was terrible. I’m visiting from LA and was craving a breakfast burrito for brunch and saw the Unilocal reviews and was excited to try the place. Had a michelada and a chorizo burrito. I asked the server for avocados in the burrito. The wait was 40 minutes to get the burritos and then the avocado was on the side. WTF! The michelada was flat. The burrito wasn’t great. And service. Oh my gosh. Terrible. Never returning to this spot again. With the many times I visit the Palm Springs area, I won’t stopping in here ever again. Seriously. An hour waste of my life.

It doesn’t look super fancy from the outside and we were thinking it would be much bigger but the 4 ½ star rating made us try this place — and I’m so glad we did! I got the chicken chimichanga and my fiancé got the enchiladas mexicanas. He said he’s never had beef enchiladas that tasted that good before. My chimichanga was SO delicious! I tried my best to eat it all just because of how yummy it was, but it was so giant I couldn’t eat it all haha. There was a guy playing guitar and singing in Spanish which we could’ve done without, but other than that the food was priced fair, food was great, waitresses were very friendly and our bill was barely $ 20 for the both of us. I’d definitely come back!

Haven’t tried this place since it opened, so we were looking forward to visiting again. Pro’s: The Price, amazing. The Horchata, also amazing, probably the best in the Valley. The Service, very attentive The Campechana, best price around. Con’s: The Salsa, was like tomato water. this costed the 5 star I usually put it on everything. Great place, fast friendly service with some amazing attributes. We will be back.

I took my sister here for her birthday last year and it was excellent. I am going back Saturday for my birthday dinner. Quick Service, Great Food. I had just enough time to take one sip of my «AWESOME» Strawberry Margarita and the food was already arriving If you love great Mexican food, this is your spot !!
