Kaaterskill Farm Natural Storehouse

I was very pleased to find a health food store in Catskill! This store is adorable with a lovely staff and a nice variety of food. It has a small produce section, but good size frozen and nonperishable sections. Also, tons of TEA!!! And, some great sales. A nice alternative to shopping at the large chain stores just down the road.

A «natural» store anywhere in Catskill was a pretty big find, but just a hop from the NEW GIANT MEGA WALMARTs was just perfect. Anyway…
It has another location in Hudson NY which, to my understanding, is bigger. BUUUUUT this one does quite a good job of holding it’s own in C-​kill. It has a small selection of locally grown produce, some «organic/​natural/​healthy» food «mixes,» and a good sized collection of body care and home products, as well as a pretty extensive collection of herbs/​tinctures/​potions. It has a mini sort of «guide» to help you figure out which herb/​tincture/​potion could suit you, and the staff is super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Really laid back, don’t be afraid to ask questions! Good find :)
