I had a painful and worrying problem and made a first appointment at Doctors Care for which I was charged $ 300 to draw fluid and test. After 10 days the test results were not received, so I called them and they said they were waiting. After the 11th day I called again and they said the result was negative. Apparently they were sitting on the result and just failed to contact me. My impression is that they are unprofessional for failing to follow-up and for losing the test result. My dog’s vet is more conscientious.

I said in my check-in, up front, that I was dealing with flu symptoms. I waited for two full hours in the waiting room(there were only 4 others ahead of me). After the first hour, I went up to the front desk where the receptionist told me it shouldn’t be much longer, so I agreed to wait it out instead of going to another local urgent care. After almost another hour, I walked up to the front desk again and asked to be put on online check-in so they would text me when my room was ready. After a third hour, I called and asked for the status of my check-in/when my room might be ready. The lady on the phone told me to «um, just come in». I returned and was seated for another 10 minutes before the nurse, Rebecca(the only even remotely helpful person up to this point) came to take me back. She was friendly and pleasant, and took all of the initial readings she needed(though I guess they don’t give the nurses any actual paper to write anything down on because she wrote down all of my info down on a post-it note) and she was done in 5 minutes. The PA came in, and she was also extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve gotten every treatment I could need now, but I don’t understand how it could’ve possibly taken so long. The actual medical staff here is wonderful, but for URGENT care, you may want to find another place.

Waited for two hours until I was told I needed to fill out more paperwork, and it wasn’t even crowded. Be prepared to wait a really really long time and they often only have a FNP and not a doctor on call. All walk in clinics have long waits, but this one seemed understaffed more than most.

Visited over the holidays. Waited for 3 hours, finally saw a nurse, when I ask to see the doctor, she said«there isn’t one on staff today.» WTF, isn’t the place called Dr. Care? Very bad Experience, your better off going to the ER, it will be quicker and you will see a doctor.
