I stopped by this restaurant as I was passing through Cedar City. I was recommended to go here by the person at the desk at the hotel. I had the seafood udon, which was very good. The soup contained to pieces of what I assumed to be crab legs; however, upon closer examination, it turned out that they were imitation crab not real crab. The person waiting on my table was very attentive — always looking to see if I was done. She quickly brought me my check when I finished the soup. Unfortunately, I was still hungry. I was not given a chance to order more food. I ended up at Chili’s to finish my dinner.

I made my reservation thru Unilocal. When we arrived I let them know we had reservations. The greeter said oh I didn’t know that. I didn’t check. So they were not prepared for us. I won’t use Unilocal reservations again. We sat at a table and ordered the Rock and Roll sushi. It was very good. I would do that again. We ordered the chicken, pork, and steak. The chicken was tender and moist. The pork was good but a little dried out. The steak was over cooked. The noodles were the star of the show. Very good. Our chef didn’t do to many tricks or put on much of a show. He did however talk the whole time. He told us his life story. Would I go back. Probably not. I can get Chinese food as good or better for a lot less money.

Ninja hit the mark for my fiancé and me tonight! We tried the Las Vegas roll for the first time and it was awesome! We also got our usual rolls of Unagi Nigiri, Crispy Unagi, California Roll and King Cobra, all very good and delicious as always! Though we’ve kind of given up on their dinners, have yet to be let down with their sushi! Oh and not to mention the salad, we always get that and it is always tasty! Great job guys! Happy to see that you have upped your game again! :)

Very pleased with the sushi, service, and ninja theme. There were ninja action figures and the word ninja was written on all of the lights. The server was not Asian or dressed like a ninja but she was friendly nonetheless. I’ll be sure to stop in here the next time I need sushi in Cedar City, Utah!

My husband and I ate here today during their lunch hours. He got a sushi combo and I had the teriyaki chicken lunch box. I was very disappointed with the chicken, as it has a chewy, under cooked texture to it. I only ended up eating my salad and white rice. The waitress didn’t bother to ask if everything was ok, even after she saw almost a full plate of food going to waste. I’m always afraid to complain about the food, just because of all the horrors of people in restaurant kitchens. We also got the chili garlic edamame, which we both really love. We probably won’t go back to Ninja during the lunch hours. I feel like it’s not as good as the evening menu.

Food was fantastic! We had Wyatt as our server and he was great. Coming from Las Vegas we have lots of sushi options and this place is high on my list. I highly recommend it.

We ordered 7 sushi dishes. King Cobra and Scott on the Sushi Hour/happy hour were our favorites. Very good service and delicious food. The waitress had tried a lot of the food items before and was able to give us very informative recommendations and even said they could add cilantro to the sushi(which she said tasted really good). The restaurant is very oriental and very cool. Lots of ninja stuff. They also have hibachis or places to cook the food right in front of you. There are many choices to choose from. They have all kinds of specials/discounts too. If it’s your birthday, they’ll take your picture and put it on the wall. It’s a pretty sweet place. Check it out. :)

How to say«Bravo» in Japanese? The place was full of what appeared to be locals, and regulars – a good sign. We were impressed. Great to find a good Japanese place in a smaller city. + Three different seating options. + Very good food for the money. + Good, respectful service. + Really good teriyaki; not fake corn syrup stuff as out of a bottle. + Easy on/off I-15. I will definitely eat at this place again, would definitely recommend it.

Cedar City is quite a nice little city. It was our first visit there. If you are looking for classic Japanese food, this nice restaurant will fit the bill. Entertaining cook at the table-side grill. Food was very good.

It’s nice to be able to get some decent sushi when traveling through small towns. Service was very good, and the fish was fresh(by central US standards — only so much you can do that far from the coast). The rolls could be a little more imaginative, and be sure to have them put the sauce on the side unless you want the rolls drowned in it(we were forewarned) — but they were more than sufficient to satisfy our sushi cravings. The nigiri and sashimi were fine as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Whenever I need a special treat, I head over to ninja restaurant. We’ve eaten there many times and their sushi is delicious! It seems like they are always running some great specials. The hibachi is fun and yummy too. I highly recommend it!

BEST place to spend your birthday. Top notch service. We came with a big group on a whim, after a snowstorm changed our camping plans. Heather was a great host, and made our crew feel right at home. Sake bombs and Burning Man sushi rolls highly recommended!

We stopped here today during our visit to Cedar City. We had the soft shell crab and special dinner that includes Dragon & Tsunami Sushi Rolls; 10 nigiri pieces includes 2 pieces of Ebi, tomago, crab stick, hokki gai, una gi and seaweed salad. It was really good especially the dragon roll. We like the bread crumb that makes it so crunchy. Hokki gai was chewy but we found out it came in a packet so they can’t really do anything about that. The waitress was very attentive.

Dear Ninja Sushi, The woman at the front was very friendly but had difficultly understanding what I was saying. While I am not a native speaker of Japanese, I am from Hawaii, married to a man fluent in the language and am confident in my pronunciation of «agedashi tofu» and«vegetable yakisoba». I began with the proper pronunciation, tried to evolve to a more Caucasian pronunciation, and finally wound up pointing at the items on the menu. It then made a lot of sense when she repeated the items back to me and I had not a clue what she was saying. Ha. I also did not receive my agedashi tofu but I forgive you for that. We came for the Cedar roll at my husband’s aunt’s insistence that it was going to be a veritable party in our mouths. Thinly sliced lemon on a sushi roll? Who would’ve thought. It was rather good. I was somewhat dismayed at the amount of sushi rolls that contained cream cheese, I suppose that must be a White people thing, but the rolls were decent and enjoyable. Would I be back? Probably for happy hour. I felt the food was a touch pricey for what we got and there are many other places(Like Hong Kong Buffet) that will give you far more bang for your buck. Sincerely, Angela
