Willie, Shirley and their son, Brian, do amazing work. They patched, sanded and refinished 660 sq. ft. of 100-​year old pine floors in my house. It went from being an eyesore to the highlight of the house. They are incredible to work with and stand behind their work. A neighbor had her otherwise identical floors patched and refinished and they didn’t turn out nearly as good.

We bought an old house in Taylor that had about 3,000 sq. feet of quarter sawn oak floors that needed refinishing. Two of the rooms had been redone in the past ten years and were a different color than the rest of the house, which had been covered by carpet at some point. Two of the rooms had really deep scratches and one room had a dark stain. Adams Hardwood Floors did a fantastic job. The walnut stain we chose brought out the grain patterns. Almost all of the scratches came out completely and the stain lightened considerably. My husband and I were very pleased by the results. This is the second time I’ve used this company to redo wood floors, and I highly recommend them. It is a family run operation, and Willie, Shirley and their son are easy to work with and did a very professional job.

We tied new red oak flooring into the kitchen area and then had Adams Hardwood Floors come in and refinish all the floors in our house to match. They are a true family run business, and they are just solid people. I like them a lot.
Our 64 year old house had been badly neglected and the floors were in really poor shape. After the sanding, the extent of the staining was more clear, but we decided to keep the floors and just live with some character in the wood. After the stain went on the floor, the stains almost disappeared! We couldn’t be more happy.
Willie met us at our house this morning for our final walk through to see if we needed anything else done. We identified a few spots that need to be addressed and he said they would fix them. Also, our wood must have been thirsty and Willie agreed that we needed to put one more coat of sealer on the floor.
If we ever need wood floors refinished again, we will definitely be calling these guys.

We had the pleasure of working with Adams for a repair and refinish of our 1950’s hardwood floors. Several members of the Adams family work for the company and every last one of them are friendly, professional and knowledgeable — they are just good people. Willie and Shirley Adams are the best! While in the process of remodeling, we pulled the carpet up from our floors and discovered hardwood floors that were in poor condition. The carpet company had poured glue on the floors and I wasn’t sure that the floors could be made whole. Enter Adams Hardwood Floors. Not only did they get the glue up but made the floors look brand new. During the whole process, Shirley and the guys who did the work, took the time to answer my questions and to also provide me with information about the process and how to properly care for the floors. Shirley was a peach and made me feel like family. Upon completion of the work, Willie personally inspected the finished work. I am very impressed with the high quality of workmanship and the level of personal customer service provided. Thank you, Shirley and Willie! Willie Adams, the owner, and his son are AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about them! My floors look beautiful! They were pretty appalling before they came to refinish them. This is my first house so they were also kind enough to teach me a few things, like how to tighten an old door knob. Kind people with interesting stories. Fair price, too. I really wish I had more hardwood floors so that I could hire them again! Okay, I wish my whole house was hardwood for other reasons, too. When we do get new floors put in (once our puppy gets older), we will absolutely hire them to put in new floors.
