An Elegant Affair

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the very first store I visited to try on dresses for the very first time.
I found a few dresses in this store that I liked. They have a pretty small selection of dresses, and I went into the dressing room to try them on. And NONE of them fit me. I’m just an average-​sized girl. In «Say Yes to the Dress,» the dresses are all big, and they hold them on with clips so everyone can try them on. This was NOT the case in this store. All of their sample dresses were too small to even get over my hips or over my head. I was bawling because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to try on dresses at all that day. The owner didn’t even bother to speak to me as I’m standing in the middle of her store crying, and just pulled some dresses that I could maybe try on. In the end, I was only able to try on one dress in the store, and I was so turned off by the miserable experience that I had, I knew I wouldn’t buy a dress there. The owner was incredibly rude.
DO NOT shop here if you are over a size five and have curves. It’s not worth the punch to your self esteem. This is supposed to be a fun and wonderful experience.

I’ve bought 2 prom dresses here, been with 2 brides when they bought their gowns. No issues. Seamstress has been there for years knows what she is doing. Large selections, girls are friendly.
