What a wonderful university! The University of Northern Iowa is definitely at the top as one of my favorites. I attended and received a Masters of Arts with an emphasis in creative writing from UNI. My professors were wonderful, as well as my friends, all the way to the secretary, who all helped me succeed and graduate. I always tell people that receiving a masters was one of the best times in my life, but also one of the most challenging. I couldn’t have done it without the wonderful help and resources available to me at UNI.
Now, as an alumna, whenever I return, I feel a certain peace and sense of belonging.
I attended Iowa State University for my bachelors, and while I love and cherish that school for different reasons, UNI will always hold a special place in my heart.
