I’m giving this place 2 stars not because the store itself sucks, but because I didn’t have luck finding what I was looking for here. I was looking for workout shoes and with the ones I was interested in, they really didn’t have my size. They also didn’t really have many women’s options. The ones I did try on weren’t as comfy as I would have liked for them to be so I had no luck. The man servicing me in the shoe area was super nice though. Knew a few things about shoes and while I tried them on, told me stories about his pet monkey. I wouldn’t come back here for shoes, but probably for another sporting type item.

Yesterday we went in to look at treadmills. I’m pretty confident that’s the most expensive thing they sell within the four walls. I wouldn’t know for sure because no one, not a single, solitary person that works there ever acknowledged us, other than the time that the teenager told me with zero intonation to stop touching a machine that was on the sales floor. I was trying to figure out what it was. Turns out, it’s not for sale, it’s not exercise equipment, or so I assume. I suspect it was something they use to secure tension bands. But I wouldn’t know, because despite my standing on an $ 1800 treadmill and wondering aloud to myself, «I wonder what’s different between the $ 1800 and the $ 1400 machine?», no one had the time to help me. I gladly walked out and am actively deciding where else to spend my money. I can’t imagine a thing that they sell at Dick’s that you can’t get elsewhere. Apparently, the name holds true.

Man, Dick’s has you covered for every sport. Colorful, organized, maze of athletic gear and equipment for everything including hockey, football, soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, canoeing, and just plain working out. Anything you need — Dick’s has got it. Too bad their prices aren’t competitive against Academy Sports, but nothing can beat the convenience of the locations. Tip — sign up for rewards and save. Tip 2 — items, including gear, are refundable.

Absolutely the worst service possible. The floor folks are all teens that try to avoid you. When you get them, they have no idea or care how to help you. They charge top dollar and you get zero service. Managers are no better. This place has definitely went down hill

2nd time that I’ve gone in there and waited for 15 minutes for any presence there in the shoe department. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought that someone else was being helped, but I saw no one being helped. I even saw other employees walk by and say nothing or even get on their walkies to say that people needed help in shoes. The employees on the floor don’t seem to give a crap.

Good products but staff did not seem to care. This all comes down to poor management.

The 3 stars is for the store itself. It’s a very nice store with a lot of sporting and exercise equipment for anyone and everyone. I don’t believe they want to sell anything though. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been here and no customer service at all. I’m standing in front of the display cast of shoes — even holding a shoe I was going to ask about and nothing. So after glancing at some shirts that they have on sell– I left. Is it the time of day I go? Morning’s mainly or is it like this all the time???
