I’ve lived here for about a year. I feel safe walking my dog at night. Pet friendly for the most part. But you can’t have any random animals like reptiles and such. The pool gets really hot in July and it’s unusable. The guy that monitors the pool comes out to the pool every time he sees someone out there, so if it’s empty and I go to swim by myself he comes out and watches… it’s really awkward. I guess it’s his job but it’s weird. But it’s quiet and it’s decent for the price. I like Cedar Hill in general because it’s close to Joe pool lake and lots of trails. Speaking of that the closet on my balcony is big enough to put a kayak in, FYI. Also they don’t clean any ice off of anything, maybe it’s a Texas thing. I moved from out-of-state where ice removal is essential. I’ve slipped down my stairs twice because the clogged gutters drip onto the stairway and it freezes. I guess I should add that the landscaping is fairly nice especially out front, management is quick to respond, and all the Office ladies know me by name and where I live. It’s mainly made up of families, older people, and single professionals. There’s not a lot of funny business that goes on here, and I like it that way.
