This place is always warm and friendly. It’s a great spot to meet a friend and chat and visit. Their hug and a mug is a great coffee drink for cold blustery day. I stop whenever I can, and it’s always been a good moment in my day.

Love this place! My BFF and I stopped by one evening while passing through town. We loved that you could drive up and a «coffee attendant» would bring your order out«sonic» style. However, we didn’t want to miss out on what was inside the quaint coffee house. It had a very homey feel. While waiting for our latte we found a chalkboard to write on. This is a great people watching place:). But more importantly, it’s the perfect place to chat with a great friend. You forget the cares of the world for a few minutes while enjoying a GREAT cup of coffee.

Stopped by since I was in the neighborhood with a friend. I bought the coconut latte, which I wasn’t too much of a fan of. The ambiance was nice with free wifi; indoors had limited seating with low lights. If you’re looking for a place to relax and chill, this would be a good place to go to. To study, maybe not so much.(Still more quiet than Starbucks, though). I had the toasted coconut there, based on a recommendation. As this was the first time I had a coconut coffee drink, I didn’t know what to expect. Sadly, I didn’t finish my drink as I soon very quickly discovered I am not a fan. The chocolate pie was delicious(made by Emporium Pies, one of my absolute favorite specialty shops to assuage a sweet tooth). My friend had a cup of the Harney & Sons Pearl Dragon tea, one of her favorite blends. Insofar as first impressions go, I’m not too impressed. The people seem friendly, all the same.

Tried this on a Groupon, but not a big coffee drinker, but this is so YUMMY! My husband could not stop eating the pies here. They have a togo area where someone will even come to your car. Very friendly and they make you feel like more than just another customer. So cozy and calming, great place to study and catch up with friends. Only reason for not 5 stars was how small it is, which may not always be a bad thing.

I love coming to this little coffee place, it’s very quaint and different. It has a great comfortable atmosphere inside and outside. I wish it was a bit bigger inside, because it can get full pretty quickly. Their array of coffee flavor choices are also nice, Not just your regular caramel, vanilla flavors like at your local starbucks — but also they have one that has Lavender that is absolutely delicious. Their fresh pastries are also really good. Sweet and fresh, both a great combination. I love coming here to read, work on anything I need to, or just relax and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the weather and chill atmosphere.

Lackluster coffee. Quality is similar to Starbucks minus the corporate touch. Pro: — clean interior — a decent amount of seating(upholstered and hardwood chairs, a couch) and tables to lounge and study — outdoor seating — similar to a drive-thru service, the shop offers to-go parking spots that allows the staff to walk up to your vehicle to take and deliver your order. Cons: — coffee quality is flat and lifeless. On my first visit, I ordered a cold press coffee. The drink lacked any form of flavor including body and acidity. It was as if the beans were so oxidized that the flavor that should have been noted explicitly(especially for a cold press) was completely absent or that it wasn’t steeped long enough for the beans to release its flavor. Thinking that this may have been their«off» day, I decided to give the shop another try and this time, I ordered a very standard drink: latte with skim milk. This drink had a wtf taste. The flavor of the espresso was non-existent; it was overwhelmed with milk… and caramel(hence, the wtf)??? I suspect that I may have been given a caramel latte because the drink was so unusually sweet for a regular latte. — staff: somewhat«hipster» snooty. Although they were super welcoming with their regulars, I’m not sure if it’s just me or with all their non-regular customers that the staff conveys a hipster-like snooty tone and stare. *rolls eyes* Overall, I would not come back here again. Unless you enjoy«syrup coffee»(crappy coffee beans doused with caramel, pumpkin, peppermint, etc.) than appreciating the quality of the beans and preparation, I would not recommend this place. Bleh.

Nice little coffee shop in an old restored house. Rooms setup with furniture and tables and is very homey. I ordered a Cappuccino which was done quite well. Also had pastries which were very good. This is a very refreshing find!

I’m not a coffee drinker but I love this coffee shop. It’s such a cute place near downtown Cedar Hill. It’s often busy and filled with students studying or groups meeting or just friends catching up. There is a variety of drinks for anyone(even if you don’t drink coffee). I love the Chai tea. It has so much flavors with the various spices. It’s also amazingly good cold. They also sell sandwiches, desserts and other treats. They provide free wifi and a computer for people to use if they don’t have their own. There are limited seats however there are some available outside for one to enjoy the change in weather while sipping on something hot. They also have an affordable VIP program that allows you to get 10% off of your purchase and they email you specials. The VIP membership never expires. The staff is friendly also. This is not the place to go if you are in a rush. It can sometimes take up 10 minutes for your order. They also have a drive up section so you don’t have to get out of your car. Give it a try!

I love this adorable little coffee house! We were in Cedar Hill on a Sunday afternoon, and after a day of disc golf at Lester Lorch park we were pretty beat and ready for some caffeine. We stopped here, and immediately loved the little cottage. Stepping inside, it felt like a friend’s living room. People were relaxing on couches and in arm chairs, chatting and playing board games, while others were working on laptops at a few tables. Such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. All of their goodies looked delicious! They had cookies, muffins, pumpkin bread… I’m not sure what they make there and what they bring in, but one thing they do bring in(and I’m glad they do) is Emporium Pie! Nice to know there another place I can go to get that mind-blowing pie. Everyone we spoke to was super friendly and helpful. They have a huge list of Signature Drinks, which are different latte flavors that they mix themselves. I decided to try the Snickerdoodle Latte, which was vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon. It was scrumptious! Sweet, but not too sweet, with a great rich flavor. Other cool things: They have free wifi, lots of White Rhino merchandise, and an open mic night. Any time I’m in Cedar Hill, this will definitely be my go-to coffee place.

I think they are becoming a favorite. This makes a third visit outside of my normal Starbucks. They are conveniently located up the street from my house and I love the homey feel. I always feel welcomed and appreciated. I love that they change up their variety a little so I can always go in and find something different or new and unexpected than my last visit.

This is definitely, hands down my favorite coffee spot in Dallas. The atmosphere is perfect, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is friendly. They have a pull up service for those who don’t want to get out of their car. It is a great place to lounge around and study. Like I said the atmosphere is perfect. It definitely feels like home.

This place has been around for a long time! I’ve been here once when I was in high school and then I kind of forgot about it. I recently was brought here by one of my friends so we could study, and I can’t believe that I haven’t visited sooner! The place is so inviting and the staff is really kind and personal with us customers. The place gets kind of crowded and it will be hard to find a seat right way, but stick around for a while and eventually you will find a good table or a comfortable chair to sit at with your friends. They serve Emporium Pies now!!! I don’t have to drive all the way to the Bishop Art District to enjoy a pie and some coffee. The hours here are great as well! I was able to read for a good while without feeling pressured to order something else or to make room for other people. You can sit at one of the Mac desktop computers they have available to surf the web, or you can enjoy complimentary wifi with your own device. The coffee shop is not physically connected to any other businesses so the parking lot there is only for the shop and it is SPACIOUS. Never had trouble finding a spot despite the crowd they draw. Also you can pull in and order from your car and they will bring it out to you. PRETTYNEAT! Enjoy the breeze outside on their patio or if you want a little more privacy you can sit at the big wooden picnic tables on the side of the building. I’ve seen people playing guitar there, and it does have kind of a summer camp feeling. If you have kids you can bring them there for a treat and to doodle on their awesome chalk board! Super cool. All around a good experience and I give it 5 stars!

I really enjoy the atmosphere in this place, however sometimes it’s really crowded but it’s not hard to find a time to come when it isn’t. Their«drive thru» is pretty cool. Really love their snickerdoodle coffee, and I order it every time even though I’m allergic to cinnamon(worth it!) One of the employees made fun of my glasses because they’re large– but I really do need them to see, guess I’ll be going in with contacts from now on :(

Move over Starbucks! You’ve got nothing on this business. Fantastic coffee drinks. They have a pull up service, kind of like sonics. You pull up and a server will come out to take your order. I’ve spoken with the owner. He pretty much breaks even on the business. He opened up, not for the money, but because he thought cedar hill needed a good coffee shop. I’d give any owner with this mentality a 6 star review.

As I drive pass by this coffee shop too often and I never had a chance to stop… So today is the day I will stop my car and give this coffee shop a try. As I walk through the front door I was impress because there were plenty of customers lounging around. So my first thought was this must be a very good coffee place to try. I approach to the counter to look at the menu of course 3 girls behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge me at all. I decided to order a iced latte and a black iced coffee w an extra shot of esspresso. I got my coffees and gave it a try. OMG!!! Are you serious… Iced latte taste like half and half milk all the way with no coffee flavoring to it. There was no aroma of coffee beans in the coffee what so ever. Next the black coffee with an extra shot of esspresso… Total failure again. Taste watered down coffee like it’s been sitting on the counter for over a day. Needless to say waste of time & money …

Love this coffee shop. Taste just as good or better than Starbucks. It’s such a cute coffee shop. Free wifi, outside seating, & you can bring your dog! Their sandwiches and cake desserts are amazing! They have a Mac desktop for their customers. I love coming here to catch up with my friends or meet up my classmates for a school project. My favorite drink there is The Sebastian.

This is a super raddd place that looks as though it belongs in Silver Lake, California. The decorations and overall vibe is awesome and eclectic. They are Vegan and Organic AND they support Macs, not PC’s. The menu is fun and creative AND the drinks are phenomenal. I will definitely be back soon.

We were in the area so we decided to get some cake to flush out al the sweets we just had at the cake guys: D. They have tons of different flavored lattes you can try, they even have flavored coffee. There’s plenty of seats available for sitting and they even have an outside patio to enjoy your java on a nice day. I loved the to go drive in concept they have. You just pull up to the covered parking spots, and someone will be outside to get your order! I ended up trying a latte with irish cream and vanilla with soy milk. It was awesome. My friend got a coconut latte and she kept raving about how she loved it, and it’s the best latte she has ever had! Overall the experience was really good and MOST of the baristas were super friendly!
